Subway Sandwiches, Toronto Reviews (2)
Last night I stopped by this location after work to pick up a sub.
When I arrived, I was 5th in line. There were 2 men, ordering 8-10 subs. They had a list but "they" kept making mistakes. The poor girl who was taking their order was so very patient with them but I was getting mad.. Mistake after mistake, they made her unwrap the subs that she did to make sure they were right and she was only adding the items that they told her to put on each sub.. it was ridiculous..She was the only person working..that was so not fair to her. She still needed to bake bread as she ran out of Italian buns. She was certainly patient and made sure that everyone after these two men had their sandwiches as fast a possible.. Fatima is a fantastic employee, Subway should be so luck y to have her.. and they should treat her better!

Ok, let's say this straight.
In the surroundings there is not much choice for lunch.
So Subway is one of the healthiest (in my opinion) solution so far.
You got your salad, and various fresh products (I hope) in it with some meet if you like.
They also have soups, but I am not a big fan of it.
So far I was happy to go there because the staff is -nearly- always welcoming and nice. UNTIL a person recently hired is making my lunch miserable.
I guess you must be a Harvard university graduate to understand that sandwich toppings have to be put in layers on top of ONE side of the bread.
Not in the middle and try to squeeze it hard to make the whole stuff close...
The result is that it's cleaner to use a fork to pick the ingredients from the top than having a real sandwich.
I hope it's very temporary.
Anyway, picture follow to show the mess.

The taste was usual, it's just so difficult to eat neatly and with the pleasure of having a sandwich.
Looks like a picture from 1990..who took that thing?
Laurent! I feel your pain. I hate when the sandwich is made wrong. GRRR! Did it taste good at least?
i had her too...i had to ask her not to put the mayo down the middle but on one side so i actually got some in every bite. honestly, i knew it was gonna be a tough go as soon as i saw her drop two sandwiches on the floor. im seriously thinking of filing a complaint, that subway used to be sooo good!
That sub is a mess... wow. I ahve managed a few of these frnachises myself and unfortunatly this will always be an issue for subway.... see my review about subway...
Thanks for the pics... it really is worth a thousand words to see.

As a matter of fact, the SUBWAY® chain operates more units in the US, Canada and Australia than McDonald’s® does. Countless awards and accolades have been bestowed upon Fred DeLuca and the SUBWAY® chain over the past 40 years. The SUBWAY® name and its products have even appeared in numerous television and motion picture productions. Not bad for a seventeen-year-old kid from “the projects”!
