Almost three years later and I have finally found my groomer, I`m the proud owner of a 2.5 year old shih-tzu, and have been having some serious trouble in finding a knowledgeable and trust worthy groomer. I recently decided to give Petsmart another chance and setup an appointment at their Kenedy Store in Scarborough...the amount of information and guidance that I received from the salon manager (Marleen) was for me extremely refreshing, thank you so much.

[First, my only issue is that I wish PetSmart stores in general would stock up more on Timothy pellets for rabbits. EVERY time I visit a PetSmart, they've either run out of them, or they'll only have the smallest size left. You'd figure that since Timothy pellets seem to run out fast, that they would stock up on the large bags (and make $20 a bag!) and less of the other low quality rabbit pellets with extra filler that I refuse to buy (that also only go for $5-$6) Go figure.]

I've been on the lookout for large 96 ounce bags of Keytee Timothy hay over the past while. (Their hay comes in various sizes: 14, 24, 48 and 96 ounces.) This was the second PetSmart where I could not find the largest size. I managed to find 24oz bags, but in this house, I'm lucky if that lasts a week! So I asked a PetSmart employee there if they had any larger sizes. She checked the back and told me they didn't have any. She informed me that PetSmart was actually having some problems getting hay across the border from the states, so their shipments have been delayed. She knew that you save money buying the larger bags versus the smaller bags, so she said she would see if they could change the prices of their 24oz bags so that two 24oz bags would be the same price as one 48oz. Low and behold, they were able to do that for us!

I never actually asked if they could change their prices for me. I was fine paying their regular price, but they jumped at the opportunity to even out their prices and I didn't even need to ask for it. I was really pleasantly surprised.

It was a small gesture and just a few bucks saved, but it was greatly appreciated!
