Its end of October, Halloween weekend and we got this idea to hit the road and visit some of the best Toronto’s costume stores.

Date: October 25, 2007
The crew: JennyK.n49.ca, Ryan.n49.ca, Lutz.n49.ca & the n49LoveMobile



First stop: Sugar’s Costume Store on Mt. Pleasant
Interview with: Chris – works there
Costume Fitting: Warrior Princes, WonderWoman
Outcome: 5 stars
Summary: Great selection of authentic & packaged costumes for rent & purchase, lots of fun accessories. Good for both adults & kids.



Second stop: It’s my party on Danforth
Interview with: Stephan – store manager/owner?
Costume Fitting: 0
Outcome: 3.5 stars
Summary: Unbelievable selection of accessories, masks, hats, animals, balloons & all your party needs. No costume rental, no costume fittings. Mostly for kids.



Third stop: Ms. Dress up on Dundas West
Interview with: Tennille – works there
Costume Fitting: French Maid, Candy Stripper and Bunny rabbit
Outcome: 4 stars
Summary: Cute little costume boutique specializing in custom work. Smaller selection of costumes for rent or purchase but all handmade. New line of Playboy outfits.
