The food at Capocaccia was really good. The servers seem very friendly. Price range definitely up there, especially on their selection of wines and specials. So, a little on the expensive side but good for a once-in-a-while dining experience.
what a great VIBE !! to start, our hostess had us try the 'frankie pizza' not on the menu -- "he" did not disappoint,as the prosciutto, arugola, peppers and ricotta were soooo fresh

The Beginning
Situated in the heart of midtown Toronto, Capocaccia opened its doors with humble beginnings. Capocaccia Café and Bakery as it was called in its inception, was the brain child of Salvatore Mele. Having run a successful bakery in Woodbridge with his sisters Daniela and Julia, Sal had the bug for a new venture! The plan was simple, take the bakery model and duplicate it in Toronto.
In June of 2004, Capocaccia opened its doors offering the neighborhood a wide variety of desserts, coffee, hot table lunch, Italian Panino sandwiches, and thin crusted wood burning Italian pizza.
