My child goes to CMS York Mills campus, and I am glad I choose this school for my child. We are extremely happy with the school. I would like to thank Ms. Ahmed and her team for all the hard work that they all put in to making this school year possible for us all. It has not been an easy year, and we truly appreciate everything that each of them are doing every day to take care of the children and keeping them safe and healthy. There are not enough words to thank you Ms. Ahmed for all that you do! My child adores her.

The school is "forcing" payment from parents by threatening taking away support from the staff. Very bad business practice.

I was a teacher working at Central Montessori School and my decision to leave was the best, but of course saddest/hardest decision I had to make. I was a full time teacher, working from 9-4 every day. My monthly salary was $1600. When I spoke to the other teachers, they said that Montessori is known for underpaying their staff and that they weren't getting paid much more than I was. I strongly believe that Montessori is "all about the money" because if $76000 yearly tuition is not going towards Good Quality Teachers, where is it going then? What is the owner doing with all of that money?

My son went to this school for a year and a half. His first year went well (2 yrs old). When he turned three he was moved into a different class. He is/was speech delayed. Got a great report every single day from his teacher. Abruptly right before the holidays my husband and I were brought into a parent teacher conference with Mrs. Ahmed who is a horrible human being and the director of the school. They pretty much said my son was too stupid to be in the school bc of his speech delay then made false accusations about him throwing toys. They insisted either pay for a shadow assistant for him from our own pocket or look for another school. They said he should be reading by 3.5 and clearly he was not since he was learning to talk still. I pulled him out the following day. This was almost three years ago and he has been nothing but amazing at his Reggio school he attends. He still has some speech problems but his teachers make an effort to help him and be patient with him. This place is beyond disgusting

I've had a horrible experience with this school and it has become clearly evident to me that the administration and the school is only interested in making money and not what is in the best interest of the child. The student to teacher ratio is high...25 student in one class with 2 teachers and the curriculum is no different than what is offered through the public school program. I regret my decision in keeping my child here an extra year, there is no benefit

I would not recommend Central Montessori school.
They are just money oriented and never help the kids improve their skills.
My son's teacher keeps on complaining about him beeing violent and not listening to her and never tries to help him fix this issue. She tald me that if I do not address this problem they will not allow my son to attend this school but my son is never violent when he is with us at home and I cannot solve this problem. I think the teacher's approach is not good .

My son is now 5 and attended this school 2 years ago. He just told me that he got a time out every day because two older boys told the teacher he said "shut up". He told his teacher that he didn't, but she believed the other two older boys. So my barely 3 year old son got punished everyday for something he never did and the teacher never ever brought it up to me. I am so angry and torn that the first time i sent him to a daycare or so-called private montessori school this is what he was subjected to. Any intelligent teacher with any common sense would have alerted me to this. I cannot believe that this woman, Ms Bella, gave a 3 year old a time out every single day during lunch. She should have told me so that we could have addressed this. In fact, I have never heard my son say "shut up" and I cannot imagine the discouragement he must have felt. I am so angry. I think this school is just a business, cramming as many students into the class and giving kids only 30 min. of outdoor play. It pretends to be a private school, but it's just a below average daycare that could care less about the comfort and spiritual well-being of the children. The school is only about making the bucks and only is into appearances, and is truly without substance. I so regret having sent my child there.
