Central Montessori Schools

My 21month old daughter started at the 18 Coldwater North York location 4 weeks ago. It has been a fantastic experience for her as well as for us as parents. The facility itself seems much more grand than the other locations. Always clean and bright and everyone in the hallways pass and greet you with great smiles. Everyone knew my daughters name within days, even if they weren't even the teachers in her class. They really focus on each child individually. They are creative with their arts and crafts, she's making things I didn't know she can at her age! They're teaching her new words everyday. She comes back with better hair style than I sent her to school with, and is always ready with a clean diaper and clean hands and face.... Just amazing. It took a few weeks at first, but now she runs in and hugs the teachers, and blows them kisses as we leave :) they really encourage hugs and greeting the teachers when kids walk in and I love that.

They have a meal plan as part of the program which she loves. They also have water play in the summer.

They are now helping me toilet train her as she's expressed a lot of interest in going on the toilet herself, so they are encouraging her readiness and being amazingly patient in the process.

She comes home singing songs, we'll she mumbles familiar rhythms cause she can't quite say the words yet :)))
