William Ashley

We recently received a 3-piece child's china set from William Ashley as a gift. While the product was satisfactory, the customer service was terrible. We received only 1 of three pieces, and William Ashley contested it vehemently over the period of about 2 months and 4 phone calls until finally I told them I would just tell the original gift giver to dispute the charge on her credit card. Finally they capitulated and sent the remaining to pieces, but not without strong protest and obvious demeaning comments to me. They were convinced I had accidentally thrown out the 2 pieces. It was a cup and saucer...quite difficult to miss in a small box where the only other things were packing and a small plate, which is the piece we received. Even after we finally received the cup and saucer, the store had the audacity to say to the gift giver that we had thrown out the cup and saucer. I would never deal with this store again. Ever.
