The Brick Mattress Store

The chick took my money and didn't get me a receipt. She said don't worry it's all in the computer. She wrote by hand on old receipt the payment I did. I couldn't afford to pay the full mattress all at once so this was my second down payment towards my purchases (mattress, boxspring, pillows... etc.) I paid $550 cash. I now go to the brick store on dupont and dufferin to pay remainder and they don't see my payment WTF !!! That store on college closed and I don't know where and how to find that manager Mariel L. I can't afford to lose money I already paid. I refuse to pay for her mistake. I am on OW... 6 months pregnant, sleeping on f-ing camping mattresses on the floors. It took all my savings to be able to get the mattress I want. I get ripped off.... I can't afford to pay an extra $550 to get mattress. I f-king paid it already. I don't know what to do. I can't stop crying.

I had the worst experience dealing with a store manager. NEVER BUY from this store... they changed delivery schedules without notice multiple times and made a delivery attempt on unscheduled day once... a store manager ignored my call and she picked up when I called using my friend's phone. How pathetic! She never even tried to call head office when there was a issue in delivery schedule revision and told me she just sent an email because a head office ppl never respond to her call. What kind of company is that?! I'm returning my mattress and get a full-refund. This has been a very disappointing experience and you should never buy anything from this store.

They delivered the wrong mattress. The store manager continually dodged my calls when I tried to arrange for a new delivery. When I finally got her on the phone she claimed that she had another call coming and would call me back. However, she never called back and my calls and messages left at the store went unanswered.

I managed to speak with another worker at this same College st. location and he said he didn't have the authority to get my mattress delivered and refused to provide contact information for a head office for me to elevate my claim. I have since discovered that the Brick has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.

After about a month, I finally received the correct mattress. However, the delivery man wanted to leave my mattress outside instead of installing it in my bedroom as stipulated when I paid. The mattress size is about an inch narrower and an inch shorter than a twin mattress is supposed to be.
