Best gyros in the city, greek fries great, perfect price
Their food sent me to hospoital last night.
This is not the first time I got sick.
Had the grilled kalamari and the mixed meat platter.
Strongly suggest to avoid this place.

You know, just about every greek restaurant in Toronto boasts "the best gyros". Many of them add the word "authentic" to the mix.
Messini Authentic Gyros put it right in the name of the restaurant.
You won't get a more authentic gyros anywhere. Except maybe in Greece.
These sandwiches are really something else. I'm a fairly big eater, but I have trouble getting through one of these. And the greek fries? There are no words to describe them. I swear, they must fly the cheese in from Greece daily - it's just so good.
A word of caution. These babies are a bit juicy. Whatever you do, don't attempt to eat one of these gyros over anything except your plate. I made the mistake of eating the first one over a napkin on my jeans. Can't wear those jeans any more.
Prices are more than reasonable. My girlfriend and I have a hard time spending $30 in this place.

I'm not sure what "Greek Fries" are but they sound absolutely divine!
Do they serve 'Greek Salad' there? How is the tzatziki (? spelling?) sauce? I absolutely love that sauce with toasted Pita Triangles.
You've got excellent taste in restaurants & write really good reviews. :)

Most of Messini’s customers are between the ages of 13 to 38; however the core group is people between the ages of 18 to 30.
