A bunch of us found ourselves at Hogan's Inn in King City after our University of Toronto Alumni Golf Tournament. It was the right choice. What a place. It's a beautiful Inn nestled amongst the hills and trees of the near north. Food was terrific. All the guys had hamburgers and fish and chips and some of us (me) had more heavier fare. I had a wonderful seafood platter with fresh linguini. There was some drinking involved since none of us were driving because we chartered a bus for this event. Just when we thought the night was over - the owner Chris (we think he wasn't) let us drink not only after legal closing time but for half price. He informed us that he was in charge and he made the rules. If you go there be sure to try as many things on the menu as possible. This is a good place.
We celebrated Mother's Day at Hogan's Inn - as always great food, great service, great atmosphere. Over the years we cherish our many wonderful memories at Hogan's - it is our place of choice to make celebrations memorable.
My husband and I "used to" have lovely dinners at Hogans Inn.
We booked our favorite table well in advance; only to find another couple at our table. We arrived early so did not understand. We were whisked to the back of the restaurant and without going any further had a miserable meal.
When we called to complain, we were given the cold shoulder. Too bad! Some great restaurants become too confident and then become poor choices. Past patron @-}-

Was there on Valetine's Day prix fixed menu ($55/person). The service was poor and the food (Certified Angus steak and Halibut) was so bland. Even the dessert ( cheesecake and the chocolate truffle cake) tasted like they got it from the local mini mart. I would not go back or recommend to friends.
My company had their annual christmas brunch at Hogan's Inn, located at the four corners in King City.
Close to the 400 it's not hard to get to from the city and it's worth the short trip
the soup was amazing, salad amazing and the dining room upstairs for larger privet parties is cozy warm and beautiful. Historical building, world class food and wine, world class service.
Perection.
