Classy Collection, Toronto Reviews (3)
The Owner of Classy Collection ( Yvonne Vu ) has defrauded a number of brides recently as she has taken off and packed up her store in the middle of the night without a trace and has left us all with no dress, no money and no explanation! Please help us spread the word so we can unite all those brides who have been affected and bring justice! E-mail me at sydneyneedsanswers@live.com and please share our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/ClassyCollectionInvestigation!
Any info we can get will be helpful.
Sincerely Sydney D

I recently went into Classy's with a friend. They had an amazing selection of wedding gowns, bridesmaid, mother, etc. The prices also were very reasonable, although I have not yet purcahsed the gown, I give Classy 5 stars for their service!
I would not purchase anything at this store. We ordered a dress in March 2012, Yvonne called to say it had arrived in June 2012. We made an appointment to pick the dress up the same week, when we arrived at the store we were told that it was not the dress we ordered. Yvonne offered a $100.00 rebate if we took the dress she had, my disraught daughter agreed because she didn't have any other choice. Yvonne said she would try and locate the correct dress and after being lied to for 3 days(1st she said she had to call China, then she said she had to call the USA, then she said the US wanted the wrong dress returned, then she said the US shipped the dress-she keeps changing her story) said she did everything she could, we would just have to except the dress we took home. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
This store "Classy Collection" on Spadina has disappeared with my money and my dress!!! They are just gone and without a trace, does anyone remember the name of the manager or any info that could help me! SO sketchy! She made me pay cash so that I could get the discount! IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING please help!!! I ordered the dress on July 1st 2012 and it was supposed to be ready now!!! The store is gone and theres a sign that says for lease! :'(
I purchased my wedding dress at Classy and it ended up being the most stressful & unprofessional experience of ALL my planning. The manager has zero concept of customer service - after they have your money, good luck communicating with them on a normal level.
I made an appointment for my first fitting (and my mother arranged to come in from out of town) when I called the day before to ask if we might be able to change the time by 30minutes, the manager informed me that they would be CLOSED the next day and that she did not know that I had an appointment. Not only that, but she didn't know where my dress was, or if it had been altered yet. After a few calls back and forth she proceeded to yell at me, saying that it was my problem if I couldn't find a time to come in during regular business hours, and hung up on me. (even though I HAD made an appointment to come in, but they were not honoring it, and were closed two out of five days the next week as well)
I was flat our refused contact information to the owner, and told that even if my dress had not been altered I had no option for a refund.
It was stressful, unprofessional and simply rude. I have NEVER experienced treatment like this through a retailer and I'm quite shocked that they are still in business. Eventhough I loved my dress, I would never recommend this shop, and strong suggest that if you are contemplating working with them, you'd be better off searching for the same dress elsewhere. If I had had the option, I would have left the dress I found behind and moved on to search at a store that valued their customers.
