I placed a order for parts & etc. On 12/13/2016 Received a confirmation for the order. They took my money. Still no order. There phone is shut down. I tried there email which is down also. There must be some way get to this company. Stay away as fare as you can from these Rip Off Bandits.

We bought an Aquasafe Maximus II 6 stage remineralization reverse osmosis system about a year ago and everything went fine. The shipping was fast, the system is quiet and has worked well. Recently I have been unable to get replies to emails sent about replacement filters, plus their toll free phone number is out of service. They are supposed to have a live chat link online which isn't there, and they are no longer accepting Contact Us submissions through their website. Aquasafe customer service and reviews used to be good, what happened? I'm reluctant to order now especially given other comments.

We ordered a set of replacement filters; credit card was charged upon order but the order was not filled. Consistent with other reviews I have read, the company does not respond to a phone call and does not reply to emails entered on their website or independently. Stay away and inform others.

Stay away from this company. They are not serious about their business.
Not answering emails and phone calls.
The system I have been purchased is a very cheap quality.

Whole house water filter leaked on install. Crack found in inlet housing. Company never answers calls or online chat requests. All I wanted was to swap for a replacement. Now I'm going to the credit card company to get my money back.

Used them several times over the years and they were great. Customer service was top notch. Resolved issues right away.

Latest order from 10/2015 was short shipped. Took 4 phone messages and 3 emails to get an "oh yeah, that item was backordered. We'll send it out ASAP."

4 months later with zero response to email, phone messages, chat sessions Facebook posts etc have filed a dispute with my credit card provider.

Spend your money elsewhere. Buyer beware

If I could give a lower rating I would have not been able to contact anyone about my order for a month. I just called the credit card company and filed a dispute. Seems like the only way I'll get my money back.

I ordered a refill filter package on December 28th, 2015. I have yet to receive the product which I paid for over the phone with my credit card. I have emailed and called several times (the voice mailbox is always full) and all inquiries have fallen on deaf ears.

I am disappointed and disgusted...

I ordered Aqua safe y. stem and since my Housing Manager didn't approve it to be installed
The reason is the City Housing doesn't approve any kind of water system installation whether is healthy or not. I had to return the system back in 30 days since arrival of the package with full money refund .I shipped package on January fifth 2016 , then I spoke to their representative on January 13th 2016 when I was sure the parcel already did arrive. Also I was told that I met all the requirements for full complete refund which should be already credited to my credit car by January 18 2016 I've been checking my credit card balance and finding Aqua safe never made their refund to me the amount of 341.42 Canadian dollars.. I've been calling Aqua safe in search for further information about my money refund but nothing at all. Nobody returns a call or neither my money back.

I ordered a couple of valves, the valve for top of 3 gallon water tank, and a o-ring.
The bill came to eleven dollars, and shipping and handling came to thirty one dollars.
I do not think so.

I have been dealing with Aquasafe for years. I am on my second system after the first lasted almost a decade of constant use and plan on staying with them. I love pure water :)

I love my 6 Stage Maximus II Reverse Osmosis System I bought from Aquasafe Canada in 2005. The system has performed with no problems to date. Keeping up with the filter change schedule is very easy and the replacement filters are not only the highest quality but the best deal I can find on the internet and product ships right away. I highly recommend !

Costumer service is very bad. Missing 6 pre-filters. And booster pump is broken. Now they don't answer phone calls or email. So stressful transaction. Worst i ever dealt with.

Purchase a system....2 O-Ring missing and system leak!

TDS meter meter defective...I purchase 2....14ppm difference

When talk to the support, need to talk to my manager.....2 days later....my manager still in a meeting.

No more referral from me!

Nothing but problems since I got this unit. It's cheap and poorly made and customer service is very slow and when you do finally are able to talk to someone they are rude and unprofessional and instead of listening to my concerns was practically laughed at and assured me that they never have any problems... as if his product could never have a problems. They certainly do not believe in customer satisfaction. What a joke. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Hi,

I purchased a 5 stage reverse osmosis water system from Aquasafe. First off, the company seems very small, so all the complaints regarding reply time is likely because this company is a 1 or 2 person company only. Their response time is very very slow.

Regarding the product, It has been a few months and I have yet to get this product to work properly. It does not produce the clean drinking water I expect. Support has been fairly good when they actually reply.

It is a relatively inexpensive system. Perhaps that is why the quality is just not there. I have some regrets in purchasing this system.

After ordering replacement filters from the Aquasafe website, I was informed that the order did not go through because of a mismatch between the address on my credit card and the address I wanted the parts sgipped to. This happened FOUR TIMES and I don't understand why it matters where I ship to. After checking with the credit card company, I found that ALL FOUR orders WERE indeed processed and I was going to receive 4 times the product requested and required. Telephone calls to their listed Customer Service numbers brought a recorded message and no call back from them all day (from Friday 2/8/2013). No call Saturday either. What the hell kind of company is this, anyway? Do they just operate any way they see fit? MICKEY MOUSE, as far as I am concerned and I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

I got a 6 stage reverse osmosis system from this company and its so nice to have pure 0ppm clean drinking water right from the tap!!! I've shopped around and this system was by far the best product I found on the internet and it was the cheapest!!! They've been in busines for a long time which made me feel comfortable knowing they'll be there when I need more filters. http://www.aquasafecanada.com/inhome.html this is the system I bought and i'm deffinately going to get another system for my vacation home.

First off, let me say that my next door neighbor has a gret experience with AquaSafe, which is why I selected their product.

I never got more than 2 GPD from my unit, which was rated for 150 gpd. The reason? The pre-filters were in the wrong order, so charcoal ("activated carbon") plugged the membrane. I didn't find this out with their help. I found this out when I dissasembled the unit after purchasing and installing the GE Merlin RO unit, which gives me 750 GPD but cost $350, compared to the $150 I spent on the AquaSafe unit.

The tech support from AquaSafe was horrible. Literally, they anssered my emails 90 days ater I sent them, which meant that the product was out of its warranty period. The justification for this from "Ed," their water messiah, was that he didn't get to spend much time with his kids and they were important to him. I can appreciate that, but having a customer wait 3 months to only be told to do the troubleshooting steps in the manual...w hich i had done 3 months earlier.

The bright side of the experience is that I am using the empty housing to set up my own DI unit. I've already set up screens to keep the beads from flowing out with the water, so I just need to buy the resin and I'm ready to go.

I have purchased two Aqua Safe RO & DI water treatment units and find them to be the best! They are priced far below units that require considerable more maintenance and continue to produce high quality water after several years. Routine replacement of the filters is a snap and very reasonably priced. I recommend them highly.
