Nice man but a terrible divorce lawyer. Very disorganized and was not prepared for court or to mount a strong case. Didn't seem to understand protocol in the court room and would not take my advice or suggestions during the trial. Resulted in a terrible outcome, largely due to his bad advice and performance in court. Overbilled for services not rendered.

Mr. Ford was the lawyer for my ex during our divorce proceedings. Needless to say, I am a very happy, content, and financially stable divorcee. You rock!

I hired Mr. Ford to helo with family issues and disputes and he was fantastic. He cleared up all the problems quickly, I couldn't believe it. and, he was a good councellor for how to deal with things that were expected to come up in the future. What a great guy, and his secretary was great,too.

My family hired this lawyer to handle our Father's Estate. What a mistake. His fees were so high that communication became a problem with him due to the fact that none of us wanted to waste Estate funds each time we had a question. Even when we did ask a question, he either offered incorrect information or was extremely vague in his answers. Clearly this showed that he did not know what he was doing. His office is a little hole in the wall and full of clutter. He is very disorganized and would often forget important information that was given to him. I would never use him again for anything and would never recommend him to anyone. Lets put it this way, he is not incapable of lying. Get the picture? Shop somewhere's else unless you want the worst kind of poor advice and pay big bucks for it. There are far better lawyers in Halifax that know what they are doing. Don't hire this lawyer, please!!!!

He definitely was not on top of his game when he provided legal services to me. I had to remind him of many things and correct him on others which did cause many issues in my situation. I would never hire him again nor recommend him.

When it came to billing he was unwilling to even discuss the bill when I had concerns with it. He said pay now or else. To sum it up I then fired him and paid him in full.

Never again...pick another lawyer to give your money to.
