Clinique Veterinaire Tou-Chat-Tou

I have taken my kitten and my cousins cats there ( his stayed overnight) and he was very well cared for and did not cost a fortune. I will admit the Actual vet sometimes seems to be a bit rushed, but i think they know what they are doing and don't charge so much that you need to get a loan just to go. Place is super clean ans all assistants working there were really nice and helpful

i've been been taking my cats to this clinic for the past 8 years. i have three cats, and they've always been great. the vet is perfectly bilingual, and has has absolutely no problem with my horrible french, or with me switching to english. she will give you a hard time for not vaccinating your pets, or if you're feeding them crappy food, but she's never mean about it, just straightforward and looking out for your pet's health. i've always been treated with respect, been able to get last minute appointments, and my cats have always been treated royally at this clinic. they have had vaccinations, spaying, dental surgery, and other illnesses treated there. very reasonable pricing. i highly recommend this tou chat tou!

I made the mistake of taking my cat to this doctor when I first moved to Montreal -- I chose her clinic due to its proximity to my home and without reference. During my first visit she seemed impatient and was very patronizing about my limited French. At the time I hoped it was maybe a dark sense of humour and tried not to take it personally.

I gave her the benefit of the doubt (we all have bad days) and returned again some months later, and the experience was even worse.

The entire time her arms were crossed and she used a very impatient, aggressive and lecturing tone. She didn't look at me once when she talked to me, didn't listen to a word I had to say, and insinuated that I was a negligent parent to the cat I had rescued the year before because 13 months had passed since his last vaccinations, as opposed to the recommended 12 months. I'm not sure where her anger and frustration comes from, but I won't be returning and would advise others to avoid this vet.

a totally agree with the first review at the point that my girlfriend thinked it was mine so.That is the absolute true that they really dont know how to talk to people at all.The front office was really great tough and my cat wasent so bad even if she was shook up a bit.i just hope that they are better with animals then humans. and for the other review,it totally sound like the the way they explain things to you so nice auto-review :P

I'm not saying the vet doesn't know what she's talking about, but the tone she uses is very judgmental and it is nerve racking to just prepare a visit to the vet because you know you will have to take a lot of criticism. You will probably feel like a dumbass when you get out of there.
