The staff there was very friendly. I brought my kitten in with a deep abrasion on his left side they took care of him and he healed wonderfully....thank you to the vets on staff that day for easing my fears:)

i am very Leary of vets. After what my mom went through years ago with her dogs at another clinc. I had to get Tick removed and hind legs where bothering her. And before I left Decided to give Tessi her shots. She was not going back into that room again (can't blame her) so the staff brought the needle to her, one of the staff was kissing Tessi while other was giving meddle. That's when I said "that is my kind of vet" thanks to staff and Dr. Parker for making me feel much better and confident with this clinic. I will recommend the place to anyone. Thanks Dan

I took my 17 year old Persian cat there last night to be euthanized. Even though it is a first come first serve clinic they put us into a room they had prepared for Willow. They made sure she belonged to us and that we had her breeders paperwork as she had not previously been to their clinic. The vet explained what they would do in preparing Willow for the needle. they kindly left us alone with her after she was dead and then when a technician came into the room she asked if we needed more time and we said no she could take her away. the technician came around the table and gave me a big hug which was so very kind of her. with our experience I would give them 5 STARS

Bad, Bad and Bad
Took my cat to spay, Dr Zbarsky gave me a lecture on the benefit of spaying her. The day of the operation Dr. White, called said "He Died" due to a heart attack from the anesthetic. Actually he was a she, I told him Dr. Zbarsky said her health was good, he said did he do a blood test or echo for her. I told him he did not ask for any and I didn't know we need one. I am totaly confuesed what happended there. I did not know Dr. White and I was under the assumption that Dr. Zbarsky will do the operation not anybody else. Not Recommended.

Dr. Henry White, and the tech/reception staff at EVH are excellent. They helped me so much with my 2 cats, and my senior dog + my brother's dog. I also moved to Europe and they were so helpful with guiding me to the right places to do their paperwork. Dr. White is an amazing and caring vet, he cared so much for my Taz. He is now 10 yrs old and a happy dog living in Europe! I thank them all for their amazing service and help over the years. Thank you!

I have never been happier with any vetrinarian I have taken my dogs to before. I usually take my dogs during clinic hours, and have always been happy with everyone from the front desk to the caring vets. My dogs really don't even mind going to the vet now, probably because they are treated with kindness & gentleness. Even when just one of them needs to be seen by the vet, I still take both along, since they also enjoy socializing with the other pets.

This review would have been 100% if Dr. Zbarsky retired. He's a self absorbed nasty man.

On the other hand Dr. White is the best there is. He cares and he is very knowledgeable in all aspects of his profession. Dr. Miller is good also and the support staff is first rate. Prices are reasonable and the hours are convenient.

I love this hospital for their care and attentiveness. I have been taking my 12 year old Yorkie there ever since she was a pup.
in 2008 she received life saving surgery, and shes been in great shape ever since. Im relocating in a few months and Im very sad that my dog will need a new vet :(

Money is an issue for our family, so when researching vets in Etobicoke - prices played the key role in selecting EVH for the first visit with our sick siamese. We were surprised by professional and CARING service by all staff members. Special place in our hearts is for dr. Miller. She was the one who put both our cats to sleep (first in 2008, second in 2011). This is THE HARDEST JOB of all and I (and my husband and two daughters) thank dr. Heather Miller for the care and heart she showed to our beloved pets. With her by our side it was easier to say goodbye. We can wholeheartly recommend Etobicoke Veterinary Hospital to anyone who needs professional and caring doctor for their pet. The vet technicians are also fabulous and the nicest people.
THANK YOU !!!!

I love this Vet clinic, the prices are reasonable, and most importantly, the people are very passionate about caring for the animals, and it shows. I have brought my pets there and every time i do, they have exceeded my expectations and more.

These days, its rare to find a place where you are met with great passion for animals. In my opinion, they are Etobicoke's best kept secret!

BEING THE OWNER OF 2 SENIOR DOGS OVER THE PAST NUMBER OF YEARS WITH MANY VISITS TO ETOB. VET. HOSPITAL
THERE ARE NOT WORDS ENOUGH TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE TO DR. HENRY WHITE, THE MOST COMPASSIONATE AND CARING VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. LETTING MY BELOVED BRITTANY SPANIEL GO WAS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE. DR. WHITE HELPED ME THROUGH THE DIFFICULT PROCESS LEADING UP TO THE FINAL EVENING, I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS COMPASSION, UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE WITH ME LETTING GO. GOD BLESS HIM. THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE TOO AND THEY WORK WITH YOU ON PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS, NOWADAYS WHO DOES THAT?

I took my cat Kobe there a little over a year ago to get declawed and neutered. I think of my Kobe like my baby and I was worried sick about doing this to him but they did such a good job he recovered so quickly and seemed virtually painlessly! The day I brought him home, Kobe was running around (although he shouldn't have been)but seemed quite happy and and in no pain whatsoever. The doctors and the receptionist/nurse were super nice and made the experience easy for me as well as my kitty.

Dr. Zbarsky is misogynistic, rude, and would not listen when we were trying to address the health issues of my pet. Won't be paying him any additional visits. He needs to be severely reprimanded for his unethical behaviour.
Comment by Judyta on May 13, 2011
Dr Zbarsky is a great vet with years of experience and I have NEVER seen even a shred of misogynistic behavior on his part . What you wrote is totally untrue.
Comment by fusspot on Aug 28, 2011
Dr. Zabarsky is not a nice person and unfortunately that reflects on his handling of patients and their families. If you are female look out. Mind you, over the years I've seen him snot off to men too. For the love of god don't let him put down your animals unless it's HIS decision. I can't bare the man.
Comment by checkers55 on Sep 08, 2012
As a woman, I always felt talked down to by Dr. Zbarsky as though women were beneath him, and not in the physical sense.
Mr. Zbarsky may have a veterinary degree, but that doesn't come with personality and compassion. How does he know my own pet better than i do?
There's a reason his prices are low; you get what you pay for.
I could express some very immoral, unethical stories about this man.
Shadowedcat, I would REALLY appreciate if you could message me privately. checkersxxx@gmail.com

When my 18 year old dog was finally put down, Dr. Zbarsky sent me a card in the mail several days later. That's when I cried. He told me I was great owner and that she was a lucky dog.
Fifteen years passed before I owned another animal. I took my cat back to the clinic.
Dr. Zbarsky was not available but Dr. Miller, (another rockstar) tended to Puss. She was fabulous. It's good to see this compassionate care prevails at this location so many years later.
Kudos to you guys!

My family and I have used the Etobicoke Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years now - I have always found them to be open, honest and more than reasonably priced (I like that they list their prices up front!). I have also found the fact that they are open 7 days a week more than helpful as emergencies never happen Monday-Friday 9-5. They are also, more than reasonable when it comes to all the vaccinations our pets have to get, especially as they mature, reducing the shots as seems reasonable - an important fact with current studies indicating the shots they get as puppies immunizes them for life! They also are more than willing to show one "How to..."with issues around pilling, cleaning teeth, etc....

My current dog apparently does not like male vets - squirms like the devil; however, Dr. Miller has proven to be a blessing dealing with my rescue as he is quite calm with her.

Last, but not least is the convenience of getting my pets licensed at the vet clinic. A service they provide which makes life that much easier.

Many thanks to Dr. White when we brought our cocker spaniel who was old & sick to be upfront & tell us that he has lived a long full life. He confirmed to us what we pretty much knew would be his last appointment. Many thanks for caring for our beloved pet that we miss so much, but knew we could not let him suffer any longer. Your compassion is appreciated, it meant alot to us.

I'm really happy with the attention that my 2 silky terriers get from this Vet Hospital. I like that their prices are posted on the wall when you walk in so that you know that all clients are treated equally. I get a 10% discount for having 2 dogs which is nice considering they dont have to do that. I also like that the receptionist disinfects the table after each animal visit. It doesn't matter how many animals are waiting outside to see their doctor the vet has always taken the time to speak to us about any issues we have with training out pups, if they are exibiting bad behaviour, etc. Also, since we have 2 males the doctor suggested we wait a little longer than normal to have them neutred (as one of the dogs balls haven't dropped yet) which tells me they are fair with regard to considering the owners costs (It's more expensive for them to open up my puppy to find the 'hidden' ball).

We have used the vets at this location for over 10 years to take care of our cats and dogs. We have moved to Maple and we still travel Etobicoke so that our boxer puppy is taken care of by the Best Vet Team.

The doctors and staff are amazing and you and your pet are treated like people/animal and not just a number.

After using a good family friend as the vet for our pet dog Keoni for a number of years we decided to go to Etobicoke Veterinary Hospital and we found a world of difference between the two clinics in terms of care, accessibility and affordability.

The professionalism and carrying conduct of not only Dr. Heather Miller but the entire crew is commendable. The humane and professional manner in which Dr. Miller took care of not only Keoni but also our feelings is exemplary.
