I have moved out of the area but still take my tabby cat Chiquita to Dr. Slome. The care and compassion he and his entire team show her is unsurpassed. My cat feels the love and as you can see is comfy hanging out in the examining room towels. It is worth the drive to Dr. Slome.

Thank you Dr. Slome and staff for your care and kindness through the years for our dog and now our cat.
I appreciate the attentiveness, friendliness and knowledge of your staff, therefore I have no hesitation in recommending this Vet for your pets needs :)

I have three dogs (yes, three!!) and have been a client for over a year now.
I am impressed with this practice and would recommend Dr. Slome's clinic to any newcomer.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. No question/concern is considered unimportant.
However, a suggestion would be to make next day follow up calls for post surgery/procedures. It's comforting to know that your Vet is informed of how your pet is doing the day after surgery/procedure/reaction to medication etc.
I have to admit that I am trying to get accustomed to seeing the vet tech prior to my appt with Dr. Slome. It is clear that the vet techs play an important role in this office. Although, I do favour my visits with Dr. Slome and know that I can request an appt with him only.
In summary, I am pleased with my decision to join Dr. Slome's client list and would recommend this practice to newcomers.

I have been bringing my dog to Centre Street Animal for five years. My dog is a rescue dog from a puppy mill which he spent three years and was a mess when I got him. It has taken several years to get him to a point where he can be taken into the vets where they have no problem with him. The staff here is terrific. One of a kind. They are very easy to talk to and are very eager to help. They all have animals of their own and we always have what to talk about. They take the time to explain everything you need to know about meds and instructions before you leave the office. The dog broke his leg a couple of years ago and had to have surgery there and it wasn't easy but the girls helped Roy is also a big help and has also said he has seen such a change in :Grover" from the first time I brought him in. I know if I need anything I can call and the ladies will help me get the write answers. Yes I feel very comfortable bringing the dog there. I'm hoping for a much longer relationship to look forward to. Grover and Frances Chesney

This is an awesome place to care for your pet, My two dogs love going there, they know the routine, (getting on the scale & waiting for their treat) the staff is kind and warm, they know my dogs by their name, I don't need to give my details when calling. Dr. Slone and his entire staff are very knowledgeable, kind and welcoming, always take the time to answer all my questions, share advise and show their love to my dogs.
I love the fact that they make sure to book the appointments so we don't wait long, and usually cared for minutes from the time we walk in. They are always on top of my dog's care, with regular reminders for appointments and up coming required treatments. I totally trust my dogs in their hands.

Dr. Slome and his team are amazing! I have been bringing my 7 year old Aussie to this clinic since he was a pup. The staff is knowledgeable and caring as well as extremely professional. Every visit is thorough and Dr. Slome takes the time to get to know my dog and everything about him to ensure the greatest care. I highly recommend this clinic.

Many people think its a really nice place...
But honestly...they charge too much for some things...like I know a couple of other clinics that charge way less.
Staffs are friendly...but again they are really busy most of the times...

my dog and i have been seeing dr. slome for years and i can't see myself going anywhere else. Pricing is average for the area but great staff. I also get my dog groom there and they always do a great job! 5 star overall, can't complain.

I think that the vet and the staff really care and are very good at what they do. However,NEVER EVER get your dog groomed here!!! I usually use Petsmart for grooming. I thought I would try the groomer at this clinic. What a mistake! I swear the groomer must have groomed my dog with her eyes closed! By all means use Dr. Slome, but STAY AWAY FROM HIS GROOMER!!!!

The best medicine for your pet is a caring concerned doctor and a knowledgeable and warm friendly staff. Centre Street Animal Hospital is that and more. From the time you enter till the time you leave you know your pet was cared for in a kind and loving way.

Centre Street Animal Hospital is a loving and friendly environment. The staff there are always extremely warm-hearted and caring towards everyone who comes in and their animals. The new renovations of the hospital look amazing, and they really make every visit an enjoyable experience.

I think they are a really great clinic.
Sure there are sometimes long waiting times but show me a clinic or even a human Dr/Hospital that doesn't have them. I know I wait 2 hours to see my family doctor.
They have been nothing but truthful and caring for my babies. They actually take the time to teach you, so ya it may take longer sometimes.
And I just love their new doctor, she is the sweetest thing ever!

Used to be good place, now vet tech's take over. Dr. overworked - push treatments on you - long waits - no weekends - no emails, hard to get phone calls returned.
Too bad - KC

They have extended their hours and now have a second doctor, she also works with exotics. And they just renovated so the place looks like new.

Great customer service and especially kind to animals. Completely humane! Too bad it isn't closer to my house that is the only downside.
