Harbour Cities Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1971 and has been growing continuously, moving to its present location in 1985. In 2008, the hospital underwent extensive renovations providing for a modern, fully heated/air conditioned Boarding facility as well as a full service Veterinary Hospital.
Many of our clients began their relationship with Harbour Cities as children accompanying their parents and now regularly bring their own pets and family to the hospital. Being centrally located for the past forty years, our client base has expanded throughout the HRM.
The doctors and staff of Harbour Cities are proud to have been directly involved with assisting Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada in bringing thousands of greyhounds off the racetracks and into loving, forever homes. Our goal of improving the lives of all animals has also led us to supporting and working with Bide-Awhile Animal Shelter and Nova Scotia Lab Rescue. Drs. Ginny Vaughan, Ron Abrahams, Gerry Solomon and Paige Marryatt are committed to the care of the pets they serve.
