This veterinary practise has been nothing but wonderful to my family and our pets. Their services are compassionate and professional even at the most difficult times for my pets. Dr. Alison Bowles was so good with my dog Spud at the end of his life, her and the rest of the amazing staff were so influential in helping our family cope with his loss. We recommend this hospital to everyone that we can and would never consider going to another vet hospital.

We went to this clinic for years. The staff are friendly. The care with our smaller breeds of dogs appeared to be good. But the level of care with our giant dog has been abyssmal. We trusted them, unfortunately repeatedly. It almost seems that the dog has been an experimental source of revenue for them. Solutions to problems are not usually found and we are left scrambling to make sense of their treatment and trying to fix what they supposedly "fixed" or trying to cope with a sick dog when they did little to help her other than charge us a high bill. Their negligence and attitude last week was the last straw and we transferred all of our pets over to another vet with a good reputation for giant breeds. It sickens me to think of how they have treated her or how her lifespan has likely been shortened from this.

In my experience, the Doctors and staff at McLeod Vet Hospital are the best. I've dealt with a number of different vet clinics over the years but once I took my new puppy to McLeod 9 years ago I knew I wouldn't be going anywhere else.

The vets and staff at McLeod not only provide excellent care for my pets, but they also bother to know my name, allow me to ask all the questions I want, and never make me feel like I should be rushed out the door.

When my pet has had ongoing issues the staff have phoned me at home to ask how things were going, and have taken time to talk about it.

We've been taking our furry family members to McLeod Vet for years. Each and every one of them has received excellent care. The vets there are fantastic and caring and completely dedicated to making your pet the healthiest it can be. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have taken our border collie/husky cross "Bear" to the wonderful people at McLeod Veterinary Hospital since he was 6 weeks old. The staff and doctors there are absolutely amazing. They are so caring of each and every animal as well as of the owners. They took the best care of Bear over his 13 year life. Today we sadly had to put our baby down due to liver cancer. I can't believe how caring and attentive they were to both us and our Bear. The room was even prepared with low lights and blankets to comfort Bear. After leaving the hospital and going home there was a rose bowl with a single rose in it delivered to our home with a sympathy card from the doctors and staff of the hospital. I would recommend McLeod Veterinary Hospital to all pet owners. You can be sure they will take care of your pet in the same loving manner as you do.

We took our dog here with an unknown stomach condition. He was throwing up blood, would not eat or drink. We were distraught. We took him to an overnight clinic (that shall remain nameless) they gave our dog something to coat his stomach and sent us home. We were up all night with him throwing up and in severe pain. Finally morning rolled around and we rushed him to McLeod. The love and attention our dog got here was unbelievable and made me want to cry. They treated us with the same compassionate and were very understanding of our emotional state. They saved our dog. This is a wonderful place with wonderful and knowledgeable vets, and very caring and loving techs. I would never, ever take my pets anywhere else.
