I've been using this clinic for my cats for the past 14 yrs and really appreciate all they have done !! I'd like to say that veterinary prices are through the roof every where you go in city of Edmonton Alberta and i just wish the costs could be a little more affordable for people who have a sick pet and don't have much money. Sometimes it's good to offer a more affordable price so people don't have to put there pets down because of money issues.

Subject: Client Testimonial

Message: I would like to thank Dr.Toma, and staff for helping Oliver rest
in peace. They helped me make the hardest decision of my life and will alway
hold all of you in high regards. So professional, understanding and the care
you showed me, that our pets get better care than wedo when we are in a
hospital. Oliver was a big part of my family's life, he was instrumental
in helping my Autistic daughter come out of her shell, so to speak. I will
always recomend your hospital to all my pet owner friends and family.. Thank
you for caring..Dan Wright and family

To the person who thinks "it's gone downhill under new management", I am saddened to learn about the experience you and your pet had with us and would like to hear more about it. As crazy as it sounds, I really appreciate your review. Feedback is important because we are always trying to exceed client expectations.
If you would like to meet for coffee at Starbucks or Tim Horton’s, I would like to hear about your past visits. If this is something you’d be willing to do, please email the clinic and we can work this out. I am not trying to get your business back or defend our actions; I simply want to hear your concerns.

My dog couldn't get up and was in extreme pain so we brought him to Lynwood Veterinary clinic and they were beyond helpful! My dog was quite big and we had a lot of trouble getting him out of the car so all the staff helped including the receptionist and the whole time they were very nice and genuinely worried. When we saw the vet he knew exactly how to help him and not only that, he called every week to check up on him and offer free advice. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Words cannot even explain how disappointed, disgusted and discouraged I am with Lynnwood Veterinary Hospital. I have been taking my pets to Lynnwood for about 12 years, and have had great past experiences with Dr. Don Waterman and Dr. Bridges. But since they recently changed management it has been nothing more than targets, quotas, and how much they can collect $$$ from each loving pet owner. THIS IS MY STORY: My dog had a corneal edema on his right eye. About a month ago I had Lynwood asses it and found out that there was nothing they could do for him, just apply drops and follow up appointments once a week were going to be necessary. I did however receive a $387.00 bill for 4 types of medications, the vet assessment and tests, and just to walk through the door was an extra $78.00. On week later I did the follow up exam. They still had no answers, possible causes or solutions to fix my dogs eye. Always a different doctor looking at him, and another HUGE vet bill for all the same tests. They still managed to sell 2 more types of eye drops and charge me for walking through the door yet again. I knew I needed to seek a second opinion. After 12 years you would hope for honesty, compassion, and a family type atmosphere. I'm very disgusted. I love my pet way too much to sit back and have nothing being done to help him, nor do I enjoy being used or lining someone's pocket at my dogs expense. I'm so happy to say that in my search for a second opinion I found a genuine loving and compassionate Vet. He has preformed the much needed eye surgery on my dog to fix his coneal edema, he is now on the road to recovery. Thank you again Lynnwood Veterinary Hospital for pushing me out your door, I now found someone with a heart.

I was shopping in Petsmart and met a women who was a dog breeder. I needed to have my puppy spayed and I was aprehensive about it as when a couple of my cats were spayed, their personalities changed. She told me about Dr. Waterman and said she would trust him to operate on her, so that's where I went. Very pleased with everything. Had a preop where I was given instructions on how to look after my puppy and what care I should give before and after the operation. After the operation they followed up by calling me at home. The staff and doctor are super. I can't believe anyone could be anything but pleased with the care at Lynnwood.

Brought in an abondoned dog and front staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Dr. Waterman was one of the nicest vets I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They explained his problems and now he is on the road to recovery.

We are long time clients of Dr. Waterman. He really cares and his staff are so helpful and nice. The ladies who greet you are helpful and so friendly wish that other businesses could take a lesson. The people at Lynnwood truly care about our pets

This clinic is very caring and very helpful. They explain everythings in detail, down to showing you the inside of your pets ears and how far you can go in and clean them. Everything is explained and not just given to you such as prescriptions. After visiting with DrWatterman I was able to understand alot more of my dogs problems, which enable my dog to recover much faster.

Dr. Waterman and his staff are top notch. The care they have given and continue to give my dog is of this highest quality. I have been taking pets to see Dr. Waterman for over 25 years and have never had a bad experience. I recommend him to all my friends. My current pet has had two knee surgeries with Dr. Waterman and the aftercare was excellent.

I got my dog, Nook, from someone who had neglected him immensely. He had a huge tumour and was very ill. Dr Waterman removed the tumour in almost half the quoted time, saving me a huge amount of money, and allowing my dog to have great quality of life before he passed away.

I had Nook for another 6 months before he finally was too ill to care for. Not only did the staff constantly inquire as to his health, but when we had to have him put down both the girls up front cried as much as I did. It was a pleasure to deal with Lynnwood and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They truly care and provide all the necessary info you'll need to care for your pet.

I am so impressed with the care given to my dog. We've gone to other clinics and I can say that this is the first time that we have felt valued, welcomed, cared for and we got so much information it was mind boggling. Even a follow up call to see if we were doing good! I am so impressed with the service and care of this hospital.

I have never experienced such professional and caring staff and seen a doctor who explained in such detail. I learned more in one appointment than I have ever going anywhere else. I will stay with this doctor. He is exceptional and his staff very professional and knowledgable. Great place to bring my pets

I too found the front staff rude. They put my cat on meds and never told me that the same meds could shut her kidneys down then refused to give me a somthing to help her when she was suffering. Insisted that I bring her in when and have her seen when she will now be on these pills for the rest of her life. No other vet will take on Kitty because she is on these meds and now will require a great deal of care.

your comments sound very strange to me. you don't make sense

Appointment was very rushed. Poor explanation of my dog's problem. I was sold vitamins and minerals instead of what my dog really needed.
Overall not a great clinic for the money you pay.

i have gone to lynwood for years and i am very happy with the staff. the vet seems to care a great deal about his patients.
By Lavender Asp on Feb 07, 2009
When i had to put my older cat down, they stayed open late and were very compassionate. They were not my regular vet at the time - who made it clear they couldn't take care of me that day despite the distress my cat was in - but are the only vet I go to. I tell all my friends about them.
By Azure Shark on Dec 16, 2008
This clinic is very expensive relative to other clinics and the care of animals is not up to par. They are unorganized and the front reception was rude.
Comment by cruces on Feb 10, 2009
i disagree, the staff and the vet are very friendly and the vet is very informative. He seems to care about his patients. the pricing seems ok.
