Calgary Avian & Exotic Pet Clinic

We’ve been taking our hedgehogs to CAEPC for years and have always been impressed with the level of care they receive. Dr Materi and Dr Korber are both very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. We have been through everything from major surgeries to simple checkups and our pets could not be in better hands at CAEPC.

Truly a one-of-a-kind place! I have been bringing my birds here for years and have found the vets to be kind and knowledgeable. When my cockatiel was hospitalized they phoned me throughout the day to keep me informed of how he was. A wonderful place with wonderful people!

I've been bringing my birds to this clinic for years. The vets are great and without barking dogs and meowing cats to stress my pet out, I feel really comfortable here.

If you call around, you find out quickly that the prices here aren't as high as others. The vets and staff are caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. This clinic only sees birds, reptiles, and exotic pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my rabbits or birds.

The doctor and staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. Yes their prices are higher than that you would see in a cat/dog hospital but they are specialized! Dr. Korber is very well informed, educated and professional. She is upfront, and very professional. The care my animals have received has been top notch and I wouldn't take my parrots anywhere else. I have been a client for 20+ years and have never had a mishap or problem. If you want a very knowledgeable avian and exotic veterinarian go to this clinic!!

The prices are very inflated. Took my love bird here and they had different insights than any other place but charged me an arm and a leg just to see a vet. My bird has not healed after 4 different appointments so I'm on the fence as to whether the cost is worth it or not.
