We ordered blinds from the sales rep Dexter. The order was placed on April 7 and Dexter told us the order would take two weeks. We paid $3500.00 as a down payment on April 11 and the other $3500.00 was to be paid when the order was complete. It is now May 30 and our order is still not complete. Dexter charged our credit card the remaining $3500.00 on May 18. Since April 7 we have been given many lies and excuses from Dexter. Some are palatable but most are not. He now has our complete payment of $7000.00 and the job is not finished. We are trying to get a credit from our bank but do not know at this time if that will happen.
Perhaps this company is not disreputable but we do know that Dexter is a deplorable business person and we would highly recommend that you do not deal with him. It is necessary that we give a star rating and none of the possibilities show our true intentions. We therefore had to give him a one.

I ordered skylight blinds based on the sales persons recommendation. The blinds didn't end up working out, and he tried to cut a hole in them to fit over the opening handle. The cut was messy, and the handle to open the skylights couldn't turn! It was a big mistake, and I asked for a refund. He assured me I would see one on my credit card, and it is not happening! This initial order was placed on October 28 2013 and it is now January 8 2014. I would recommend staying away from this company.

We have just found this review and would like to comment on it.

Unfortunately, Blinds For Less does not have any control over the banks. The order was done on October 28 but the blind was not installed until November 29 (skylight blinds take much longer to be made)

The request for the refund was made December 15, 2014 and was processed December 16th.

Therefore, it was then in the hands of their bank to put the credit, (which was done) in the banks hands to process and it to show up on their account.

The client cant expect the refund to be predicated on the date of the original order but must be predicated on the DATE of the request for the refund.

So this review is not accurate as by simply looking at the dates and the comments.

I should add that we had installed many other blinds for this same client so am wondering why they would not have contacted our company immediately when they did not see the credit in their account about one week after the DATE that the request for the refund was requested!

I suggest that this is poor customer understanding on how a refund is processed and based on the date of the request and not the date of the original order.

The refund was received promptly from the date of the request.
