This is one company you should avoid using to ship your freight at all costs! We have used them twice- NEVER AGAIN!
Not only did they lose the second shipment which replaced the first, they then delivered it to the wrong place and wanted to charge us to retrieve it and ship it to the correct place and charge us for the lost shipment which was eventually found (3 weeks later). Even worse they wouldn't take any responsibility for the loss, even try to remedy the situation or reach some agreement on compensation or a reduction on the invoice.

They have NON existent customer service who's motto I am sure "lets avoid these guys then piss this customer off as much as possible" .

If I could give then negative stars, I would, as that's what they deserve.

This is a classic case of where price is what you get - horrid service, horrid reliability, ZERO customer service and an attitude of FU to the customer.

AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS ! YOU SHIP with them at your PERIL.

Midland is the WORST freight company we have ever dealt with!

If I could give less than one star I truly would. Midland will tell you they are going to pickup by a certain time, and if you call back an hour later they will tell you it will be a few days later. And if you have the unfortunate luck to be on one of their trucks attempting to cross the border, be ready for a 15 day delay. Midland was unable to use common sense when one shipment on their LTL or LCL equipment was flagged. Rather than sending in another truck, removing the freight to a holding area or offering some solution, they held the freight at the border for 15 days. They will even tell you that the freight has successfully crossed and is in transit to the destination, but you will find out when you call for tracking that the freight never moved. Then when the order is canceled they will charge you for the pleasure of losing a customer and wasting your time. They are a terrible company, bad customer service, offer no solutions or accommodations when they are in the wrong and should be avoided at all costs.

Monday March 16th 2015, I had a Midland trucker driving like he was in a Horror story on the 401 west bound at Milton around 6am. He came up behind my car so close that there is no way he could have seen even the trunk of my car. I was in the center lane, I couldn't get over to the right due to other trucks. He kept flashing his lights on me, so I moved over to the far left. The next car he came across, he did the exact same thing. I ended up calling the Midland Brampton office, and talked to their Safety and Compliance guy, who said he would look into and call me back. He never did.
I know other truckers advocate for respect, but how can we do that when this is how Midland truckers behave. Midland needs to step up and focus on safety not solely on their size.
