I too worked at trappers transport in winnipeg.mb They lie to your face and I have never seen so many deductions on my paycheck. They have forced dispatch ask you to haul illegal loads ie hazmat. Told to run illegally and make it work. They threaten your job almost weekly. They laugh at the dot and there regulations. They steal your miles on average 1500 at least per month. There HR manager is a ass hole liar. Stay far far away from here
They go through a driver every 3 days here. The labour board is in the office weekly. These people are scum.

If you consider driving for Trappers be prepaired to be ripped off royally. They will promise the world, tell you that they are not like other trucking company's especially when you talk to the owners son.. Listen with kid gloves then run .... believe me when you get your pay you will be pleasantly surprised to find that your first month deductions will almost be more than your income. And when you look over the deductions they will be deducting just about anything you can think of from you. And when you confront them about the pay you won't receive for orientation, the charge backs for a hotel if you are put up in one, the insurance charges that are almost double than what they tell you, the deductions for hold backs and deductions for a hold back which they call restitution, and deductions for deductions. I made 12k in 5 weeks with 11k in deductions !! So I quit and guess what you will be told that they will look into the deduction amounts... but the only looking they do is to deduct even more in your final pay. Seeking small claims court to recoup over 3k in bogus deductions. Worst company ever along with the lowest rate in the industry. Its the principal of big trucking companys ripping off the small company's cause they can.
