Its not just this agency, its all of them, including the airlines. It's their policy written in the fine print so called to speak. See my 20 year old daughter has been raised to try and stand on her own two feet as a young adult, so she was trys to take care of things on her own. She got job and has managed to save some of her money up, and has been stashing it away, she was saving it and wanted to take a suprise trip to see a lady that's like a second mom to her, for her birthday. She was so proud of herself cuz she has been taking care of all this stuff completely by herself and paying for everything on her own. Only for the tickets she bought to be booked for the wrong month, ya it's booked for June and it should be for July. It was also cheaper to buy two one way tickets. One to go there and one to come back. We'll we tryed to call and straighten this out only to be told, sorry. You can cancel this ticket but it will cost 250.00 bucks and you have to pay 250.00 bucks more to cancel the other one also. Not to mention that 250.00 bucks is more then she had to pay for eather one of the tickets in the first place, and 500.00 to cancel the tickets, and you have to buy two new tickets. So think about that for a minute,thats the price of your tickets + 500.00 and then add the new tickets on to that plus they turn around and resale the the seats on the cancelled flight to someone else, like WTF, that highway robbery. And our government let's them get away with doing this to the American people. What ever happen to morals? There is nothing morally right about ripping people off like this, it's like paying them for doing nothing and they are more then happy to take more money from you, especially if you can't afford to buy the insurance, if something happens, but if you choose to buy it they still hate to do a dam thing about it, it's still a hassle and a pain in the butt to try and get them to do anything about it other then take more money from you.. We all need to stand up and quit allowing companies to rip us off when it comes to things like this. They need to be making some honest changes within their rules because, these so called rules and pollicies allows them to keep stealing from us legally and get away with it, like it's ok or something. I can't help but feel like they just stole a lot of money from my kid.. And their isn't anything I can do about it.. This has turned out to be a very expensive life learning lesson for her, and it really isnt fair.. And as long as we all sit back with our mouths shut, the more we are going ahead and giving them the green light to continue to rob us.. The way this system is, its a joke.. And really, its morally wrong. What kind of message does this send out to our working kids. There's a right way to steal and a wrong way to steal.. Theft is theft and stealing is stealing, and there is nothing right or good about it.. How does everyone else think and feel about this.

Good and Cheap
I have booked with Airticketsdirect twice and so far it's been good and cheap.

First was for a multiple city, YYZ to OKC then OKC to LAX and LAX to YYZ and it was cheap, less than $800 for all that and the airline was United Air and only stopped once in Chicago.

Second was YYZ to HNL , round trip ticket for less than $600, and only stop once too in Los Angeles, CA.

Don't do it! Found out I had no ticket on the day prior to departure!
To make it worse I also had no return ticket, even though I received confirmations and their "Booking Reference" numbers. Had I not tried reserving my seat prior to departure and would have left my son stranded in Europe.Had I not tried to reserve seats on the flight home I would have been stranded at Athens airport.
Support was horrendous, tickets cancelled by poorly trained staff, they never confirmed seats with airlines, expected the airlines to "fit me in"/re-honour seats. No compensation was ever brought up even though I spent 3 days in airports and over $90euro in additional travel expenses. I will never deal with or their parent company FlightHub.

Avoid it at all costs!
They cancelled one connection flight after I started the trip.
Had to buy new and expansive tickets to be able to continue the trip.
Bad customer service (if you can find someone answering your call...).
Loss is around 700 $ but it could be much more.
Unfortunately I didn't check reviews before buying thickets.
Next time I will!

air tickets direct very bad costumer service .I miss my fligth from winnipeg to minneapolis because home land security of usa denied my access to united state of america for no reason.I called air tickets direct costumer service to help me to find another ticket and i agree to pay any extra charge .For week I kept calling them but for nothing they playing a game and I was told I lost my ticket worth $1082.I bought another ticket trough canada fligh and i was very saad of what hapen.

So far so good. Best prices
I was looking for flights depart after Christmas from Syracuse NY to Oslo Norway for a few days and found this site has the best prices. I ordered 4 tickets on Aug.29,2012 @10pm and got an e-mail that "Ticket Ready" on the next day at noon. Exactly what I was ordered with all the connections and exactly the prices. I agreed that the negative marketing to opt out "best price guarantee" to avoid the extra $20 per ticket is not good business practice. But buying anything online always need to check the total prices before you giving out credit card information. I went to the airline website to double check with the confirmation# and it worked. I hope my flight will be as smooth with all the connections.

I was booking a trip to Africa and the price was unbelievable!
No last minute changes, charges, or fees. Unlike some travel websites (cheapoair) being one of them. I'll definitely be using Air Tickets Direct again.

AirTicketsDirect refuses to correct problems with ticket
I recently purchased a return ticket through AirTicketsDirect. Each trip (outgoing and return) was 3 flights. After purchasing the ticket, the middle leg was changed to a different day, making the ticket unusable. They didn't even notify me of this change (for the return flight). AirTicketsDirect told me that this is not their problem and said that such changes are the passenger's responsibility. I would warn anyone considering making a purchase through AirTicketsDirect to reconsider. You may end up with a completely unusable ticket.

Make sure you check that little box!
I purchased air tickets, but did not check the box to decline the best price guarantee, as there was no price beside it. Only after completing the purchase did I find I had been charged $60 for thier "best price guarantee". The company refused to offer a refund for the $60, and admitted they get "several" calls a day complaining about it!

site misleading
i have purchased 2 tickets online through their website the prices quated on their web site is in USD and does not mention anywhere that it will be charged in canadian dollars, once purchase was done i got a $65 foreign transaction fee, i contated them and asked why don't they mention anywhere on the website that they are a canadian based website, the response i got that i should have called and asked if we are based in canada, even it does not indicate anywhere on the website that they might be a canadian based company.
