People's Taxi

I don't know who is behind the previous review but, giving an address I would think is the bare minimum of you want a taxi to pick you up anywhere. In line with that, they should get your name and phone number as well. This way they are fully protected in case you call them and call ten other cab companies as well to see which one gets there first. I'm a concerned citizen and previously a designated driver in the business.

For the past 4-5 months, when you call People taxi for pick up at either a restaurant, pub or grocery store in Ajax, they want the exact address where to pick you up. Who knows the exact address of the pub, grocery store or restaurant you're at. They don't want to send a taxi for you unless you give them the exact address. Major intersection, city and business name is not enough. Surely they have a GPS or access to the Internet. Just Google it but NO, they are TOO LAZY to do that. I have been a loyal customer but no more. If you are calling from a residence, i understand you need the address but a business, REALLY!!! On top of that when you ask them to look it up, they are RUDE and hang up on you. Don't call People Taxi, the service is HORRIBLE!!!
