Was looking at getting wedding band tattoo after 27 years of marriage. Did some homework before I made the decision and came up with a simple design with minimal detail so that it would not look too crappy after it heals. I had no expectations for the future and how sharp it would appear. The guy at the register was nice and helpful with explaining how finger tattoos heal but the guy that actually does finger tattoos was arrogant and rude. He is a tattoo artist for heavens sake !! I would rather chop my finger off then give him my business!

A shop I walked into and did not get attitude
I made the mistake of shopping around rather than take the suggestions to just go to Stigmata. Went to 4 shops and every one of then either gave me attitude, ridiculous high prices or just straight up ignorant.
Walked into Stigmata and was greeted by a super friendly lady. Got a fair price and a gorgeous tattoo from a wicked tattoo artist. Adam was amazing and accommodating to me even though I was nervous.
All the staff had a friendly relaxing banter going that felt like family
I would highly recommend and will never go anywhere else

Brutal service.
I went in to get a piercing done 3 times. first time; no piercer. second time; no jewellery. third time; i phoned ahead to make sure everything was set and they still didn't have a piercer available when i got there.
They brushed me off and told me to come back next week.
Uh sorry, the staff there are so lazy, I wouldnt trust them to put any holes or tats on me.
Plus they charge the most out of any of the shops around.

My mother and I decided we wanted to get a tattoo done together so we decided to try Stigmata. First of all let me say the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Second of all our tattoos were done very poorly. The ink ran in both tattoos (which were done by two different artists) leaving some letters in the quote a big blob of black ink. Now instead of elegant lettering we are stuck with thick blobby letters that will be illegible in two years. I am very experienced with being tattooed and I must say this is by far the worst tattoo I have ever gotten. I will definitely be going to Nighthawk next time I want a tattoo.

Been to many different places this is by far my favorite. No BS, fair prices for amazing work, what you see is what you get (in a good way).

After I made up my mind to get a tattoo I had asked around to find a good place to go to get a good tattoo. Over and over Stigmatic body art kept coming up as a place to go. So I made an appointment when it good for me and DAN was awesome. I told him what I wanted and he drew it up and it was great. The staff was great and friendly when I came in for my appointment. My first tattoo went great that now I am thinking about getting another one. I will probably get Dan to that one too.

I was able to make an appointment easily, with the artist I wanted at the Stone Road location. Marc was a great artist, meeting/changes all the little demands I had about details and what not. Did not even feel like hours passed because of Marc's great company; some of our conversations seemed like we've been buddies for a while. Tattoo came out great and i plan on going back.

My girlfriend and I called a few hours earlier on the day of our appointment to check if they could take walk-ins and were greeted by a very chill receptionist on the phone. We went to Stigmata on Stone Rd and were the last customers of the day. We got both of our first tattoos done by Marc, who is hilarious and down to earth. Everyone in the studio that day was so down to earth, welcoming, and funny. You can tell it is easy to approach any one of them and not feel intrusive. The tattoos have turned out great, and we could not have felt more comfortable in the environment and pleased with our first tattoos. Thanks to Marc and all others who made our experience the best it could be. I highly recommend and will go back for more in the future. It is definitely no wonder why they've been voted best place to get tattooed in Guelph; clean, professional, fun, welcoming.

My girlfriend and I got our tattoos on the same day at the Stone Road location; called a few hours earlier for walk ins (it was uncanny how their available time was the exact time that would work for us). Even on the phone the receptionist seemed down to earth and nice. The place was clean, organized, and everyone was very chill and down to earth. We got both our tattoos done by Marc who is hilarious with his banter and comments. We're both very happy with our tattoos. I'll be sure to go there again for anything else. They don't go out of their way to be welcoming and make sue you feel comfortable... they are naturally so great and awesome. Definitely recommend!

i usually go to nighthawk, however they were closed one day when i wanted to get my navel done. their prices were way more than nighthawk, the counter girl was very rude and they pierced it too tight, so the jewellery was like pinching my skin almost. it got really infected because the jewellery was not long enough for the amount of skin they pierced and when i went in and asked for their advice on it they basically said that i wasn't taking care of it and told me to "use the salt stuff we gave you" they offered no advice on getting a bigger barbell and my piercing rejected. terrible customer service. will never go there again. go to nighthawk, seriously.

a lot of friends have had terrible experiences with stigmata again, from overly priced tattoos ($120.00 for two dime sized hearts) its ridiculous.

Ive gotten two tattoos done by Steve and numerous piercings done there as well. I couldn't be happier, they don't give you the typical sass you get at a lot of tattoo shops, and they treat everyone with respect which is a huge deal to me. I would highly recommend the Stone Road location to anyone for piercings or tattoos. They also don't take months to find you a tattoo appointment slot, both times I've gone they've booked me in a couple weeks later

They were informative, respectful and fun. Did amazing work for a great price and non of the attitude I've received at every other tattoo studio in Guelph. I would only suggest Stigmata to anyone for tattoos and piercing. Love these cats

I was pretty let down when I went in to the Stigmata shop downtown, there was a hipster looking little girl busy on the computer, she didn't even look at me while she was answering my questions I had, I was wanting a piercing done and she told me that they didn't pierce there that the piercer was at the "other shop" , when I asked what other shop she told me that they had 2 Stigmata's in Guelph. Reluctantly I went to the other shop and was surprised when I was pleasantly greeted by a very happy gentleman, he answered all my questions and concerns I had, while waiting for my piercing I was entertained by the counter guy with his dancing and whimsical conversation, the piercer (Lucy or Lois I believe her name was) who pierced me was very informative and made me feel at ease, she was very nice and did a great job on my Navel. I would recommend the Stone road location.

Everyone at Stigmata was so nice to deal with. I went into several other Guelph shops and got a lot of attitude since I'm not heavily tatttooed but Stigmata treated me with respect and helped me work out my design on the tattoo I wanted. I live their customer service, cleanliness, attention to detail and patience.
I would only recommend Stigmata Body Art for any and all tattoos and piercings
