Balsam Custom Tailors

I've had jeans hemmed at other places before and they would use the wrong thread colour or I'd find crooked or broken stitching. Balsam Tailors charges a little more than the places I've been to but you get what you pay for! I'm a regular there now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. You can expect excellent results every time. They do all kinds of alterations...seriously, anything you can think of.. pretty impressive.

As for the person below saying that her jeans were uneven, she should know that it is possible to have legs that are different lengths because mine are. My left leg is slightly shorter than the right.

The family who runs this business are super friendly and sweet.

I like this place alot, the family that runs and owns this business are really nice...I went back one time and there use to be a old man there and then one day it was just this young women and man...thought it was a new owner, but pleasantly found out it was one family!,

I brought 2 pairs of jeans and a suit to get altered, everything was done very well, and I got it all back really fast! The hemming was great on my jeans, one regular hem and original hem, but were fantastic and my suit fit very well after

not sure what the other reviewer meant by bad customer service they're such nice people...I am a regular there now, and when I have a problem, theyre more than happy to fix it :)

My mom got her jeans shortened here and when she picked them up they were uneven. The lady tried to make excuses and told my mom she has uneven legs. I thought maybe it was a one time rarity so I took mine there but when I got my jeans back they were also uneven. And again she tells me it's because my legs are "uneven".

Really bad customer service and a worse hemming job.

STAY AWAY!!
