Beware of this place, they will promise to take care of you but then only if it's convenient for them. The claims made on the website are just pretty words with no actions to back them up.

As you can see by the owners reply below, he blames me for the one time I had to reschedule my visit but fails to mention the 3 times he rescheduled the visit to prioritize his personal life. No fault in that however, when you run a business, customers should be taken care of and not told to check out the place on their own because you can't find the time to do so, it's substandard business.

Plus he claims that he is so much better than the corporate competition saying they are the only ones that offer one year fixed pricing and that is not true. At least at the competition I can come by to check out the units anytime during business hours and I don't have to work around the owners personal calendar.

We have used Waterdown Self Storage for a little over a year now. The location is perfect for us, and the rates are very reasonable.
On top of that they give back to the community by offering scholarships to high school graduates, plus a coop program.
I highly recommend them for anyone in Waterdown or surrounding areas looking for a storage solution, for boats/trailers/campers or secure units indoors.

We have been with Waterdown Self storage for the past 10 years. Mark and his family are amazing, friendly and accommodating. Their pricing is very affordable compared to other storage facilities in the area. Sadly we sold our trailer today.

I've been with Mark and Waterdown Storage for over a year now and couldn't be happier or more satisfied!! I was having difficulty parking my trailer--I'm a novice-- and mark helped me acquire a larger and more easily accessible spot for a really reasonable and modest price increase! It's great to see Mark out in the yard and chat when I'm there; he also helped me out and cut off a rusted lock!! The price is excellent!!! Considering that I have 24 hour access and a secure facility that's fully legal I can only hope Mark gets the go-ahead to expand and help serve more local clients. Keep up the great work Mark!!!

The rates at Waterdown Self Storage have always been reasonable and a good deal is compared to other storage areas. I like that it is a secure location with 24-hour access. Mark has been very responsive and accommodating whenever we've had questions, or issues with our trailer and storage.

We have left our RV at Waterdown Self Storage since June 2022 until October 2024 when it was sold.Mark has been our hero all the way..he is an amazing,helpful and honest guy.Always full of tips on any RV concern we proposed to him.Mark is reachable and that was always appreciated.our RV was always safe and secure at the storage area and so easy for us to come and go and enter the locked premises.Thanks Mark for being there to help us in every way while our RV was in storage with you.Price point is also excellent.we highly recommend Waterdown Self Storage for all your RV and trailer storage needs.

Mark is a wounderful person to deal with. His RV Parking is excellent, well kept and I feel very safe leaving our RV with him. Great location. 10 minutes to the 401 to the north, 5 minutes to highway 5, the 403, QEW Niagara or Toronto bound. After being kicked out of four other lots in two years due to improper zoning or development, finding Waterdown Storage gave us peace of mind knowing we had a secure place to stay.

We recently secured a site for our trailer at Waterdown Self Storage. Mark came to meet my husband to show him around the lot to find a spot that would fit our size of trailer for storage. He was more than open and informative and very friendly. He signed us up very quickly and made this process very easy. We are very happy to find an organized and safe place to store our trailer. Waterdown Storage has given me peace of mind that my trailer is safe. Mark is a wonderful, helpful person who will help those that need it on the property. More safe storage places are needed in the Toronto, Hamilton and Cambridge areas.

A short notice need had us scrambling for some storage space last summer so when we reached out to Mark, he was very professional, accomodating, and straightforward about his policies. Like many people, we ended up needing the space longer than first anticipated, and the facility worked out perfectly for our needs. As we did not have any issues, our contact with Mark was limited, but always pleasant. This is not a new facility and the price is reflective of that. That said, the service is definitely top shelf and reflective of the quality of residents within this community. Pay your fees on time, respect the property, and I cannot see anyone having a single issue. Sincere appreciation Mark.

I was really stuck for a space to store my trailer and Mark came through for me in a big way!! He was quick to answer emails and provided me with all the info I needed. He came and met me at the gate, showed me around, showed me my "spot" and had me all signed up in no time. Very friendly and very understanding about the lack of storage available at reasonable prices. His prices beat everyone else by a long shot and his personal touch is the best!

We have parked our trailer at Waterdown Self Storage for 2 years and have just renewed for a 3rd year. Mark Soaves, the owner, is a very nice and helpful man and has assisted us in backing up into our spot several times in the beginning. He is very knowledgeable. There is a security gate and cameras on the property and Mark is there almost every day. You are welcome to go check out your trailer anytime you like. It is close to town, so easy access. I would highly recommend Waterdown Self Storage!
