Staff on site are great! Clean and easy access. A bit costly but all storage is I believe. They did offer discounts though!

Rented a Uhaul car hauler 2 weeks ago for 4 days for a trip to Alberta and back, (temps as low as -30 were encountered). Tried to rent one yesterday and was told by Wayne that they could not rent me one because of "too much snow", (a wopping 6 inches). Initially I had stated that the self storage up the hwy also stated the same thing. Wayne called me back, stated too much snow, but that he booked me a trailer from the location up the street. What? I already stated they won't rent theirs for the same reason. Obviously didn't listen to me.

So, for gits and shiggles I drove up today to inquire. As I pulled up, I was happy to see bare pavement next to 2 of their car haulers, one of which was cleared off, (same unit I rented weeks earlier). Perfect. Went in and asked about renting one. The lady with glasses, (unsure of name), was quite rude and blunt, zero expression, and an attitude of what appeared to be of not wanting to be helpful. After explaining my previous requests for a trailer, she stated she would go ask her "maintenance guy" if the trailer could be rented. She came back to me and stated the "straps are frozen solid". Oh? Nothing was said when I stated I was going to -30 weather, and here its plus 4 and sunny and straps are frozen, therefore rendering the trailer useless? Well, online, it states that if over sized tires are on the towed vehicle, that the customer is to use their own straps, ( I have hundreds of certified and transport regulated straps, (own a transport company). I questioned how that could be, she said its "Uhauls policy". Oh? I left. I then came back after approx 30 mins in a different vehicle and drove up to the trailer, straps were floppy and dripping wet, not frozen.

Absolutely terrible service. I believe its laziness.

UPDATE: Formal complaint filed with Uhaul and the area manager will be addressing. Uhaul customer service was fantastic, the two agents I spoke with were very helpful, polite and understanding.

This is Borsippaa. Just got a car at the auction, and I need it stored on the same day until the car got looked at. I called, and I was told I could bring in the car immediately, regardless that it was a Saturday afternoon. Can't thank them enough. Very nice customer service, awesome prices. I will definitely use them again if I need a storage place, long or short term.

I have dealt with Parksville Oceanside ULock a couple of times, and they bend over backwards for me! So friendly, helpful, and they all go out of their way to assist in any way they can!! I highly recommend them for storage and/or truck rental.

Friendly staff but I had months were my locker was mistakenly overlocked. I work during their office hours so I didn’t have access to my belongings for over 2 months. I did get an apology from the staff but still having to paying that much money and not have access was beyond disappointing.

ULock Parksville is the best! The staff are so friendly & professional.
They have helped tremendously over the past year. Rob, Jody & Wayne have bent over backwards to assist me when I’ve needed anything.

We stored our RV here over the winter. When we came back this spring to get it, we were VERY happy - not one mouse! This is their ‘claim to fame’…a big open area, patrolled, gravelled, and well maintained. They also have storage units.

We would highly recommend this storage business! I would probably say best around for customer service and the place is immaculate! Nothing but a positive experience with all the staff who go out of their way to help!We moved from the Okanagan to the Island and they helped make our move a great one.

The folks here went above and beyond to look after our needs. We needed a storage unit for a few weeks and a trailer to haul our stuff to Alberta. Everything went like clock work. Thanks to Wayne for coming out to help when the trailer hitch on our truck was not correctly in place. They not only found us a trailer when it was difficult to get one for hauling to Alberta, but they suggested an upgrade at no cost because we had just too much stuff for the unit we initially reserved. U-Lock Mini Storage is clean, well laid out and it was easy to access our storage unit for the many, many times over a few weeks that we needed to do so.

This is by far the most organized, clean, and well run storage facility that I have ever come across. The staff are friendly, understanding and always willing to lend a hand.

Truly an amazing team of people here in Parksville. As a customer with very little knowledge and experience in what is rated in the top 3 ‘life time most stressful’ circumstances- Moving, the team at U-Lock Parksville, welcomed me and my family like we were friends. Offering each of us a bottle of water, making us laugh, listening with care and competence. Not a single hiccup in service in all my 4 bookings over the past 6 weeks. Robert, Wayne, Rob, and Cameron - each in their way lowered our stress, encouraged us and treated us with so much dignity. Even the office manager gave us useful leads to get our telephone service fixed. Parksville you Rock! So glad we chose to live here.

What an amazing experience!! Robert is the BEST! He is there to make you have the best time. We left there laughing and smiled most of the day. Upon return, he was the exact same.... we left with huge smiles on our face and tears in our eyes from laughing so hard. Hands down we will always come back to them for all our moving rental needs.

I've used about 100 self-storage locations across British Columbia in the past 15 years, and this is the best run and most secure business I've ever rented from. The hours are amazing. The units are perfect/clean/warm.
Most of all, all the staff are incredibly kind, and they always have smiles on their faces.
Highly recommend!
