I am so impressed with the quality of service, cooperation, flexibility, and accommodation I received as a customer at Apple Storage.

Not only are they a delight to deal with but they really know how to treat their customers.
I find this is something that seems to be lacking lately in a lot of big businesses. I only write reviews when I am genuinely impressed and very satisfied as a customer.

Apple Storage was so accommodating, I am sure to be back as soon as I require this type of service again. Particularly, I would like to call attention to Jackie and Heather, both of whom helped me along the way during a sometimes stressful and challenging process. If I could give higher than five stars, I would. Thank you so much for all your help.

After dealing with many storage places that increase the price by $40 or more every other month, it's refreshing to deal with a place that does it as infrequently as possible. Jackie is an absolute delight to dealnwith she is so smart and she will do her best to help you with all your needs. I love their packing supply options in the office it's just really helpful not having to stop a bunch of places when dealing with moving.

Pretty decent storage place , although like most Storage places I feel like it’s a bit of a money grab, I only started leasing my rental unit a few months ago, and they’re already increasing the price on me … best part about this place is the warm and welcoming greeting. You’ll get from the lovely lady behind the desk in the front office. She is helpful and kind. She’s honestly the reason I chose to go with that storage place. It’s a decent place. Not the best not the worst.

Not a great experience. We never got the initial 4 weeks free, even after asking a couple times about it. We chose this business for this reason and felt lied to. We are also now being told our unit will be auctioned off Nov 3rd (with 2 weeks notice), after my family has missed ONE payment, for October. With proof of all past payments..18 days and they are threatening to sell our belongings. Either reception/customer service has missed one of our payments and did not care to check again while on the phone with my elderly mother, or they intentionally scam low income people out of money and their belongings. (Also a tip, dont prebook your unit until the date you want to start paying. My family booked on the 21st of a month and are now billed on the 21st of each month, we are on fixed incomes and cannot pay until the 1st every month so they add a late fee. Every single month, which is around $30.) Times are hard for everyone and their lack of understanding, or help has us very unhappy and worried.

Nice self storage. Easy to access from 401. Very friendly management. I forgot to pay on time and got a friendly phone reminder about missing payment. Highly recommend.

I rented the unit for aprox 4 months. I came to empty my unit today. Everything was fine until I got to the back of the unit and found multiple bottoms of the boxes soaked. For $222.75 a month I expected a dry unit. Now baby keep sakes boxes are drenched. I’m not happy.
Edit: A month after this they called to bill me after I already cancelled my unit on their website portal when I emptied my unit! I told her the roof must be leaking and all my stuff was soaked. She said she’s not in charge and can’t do anything. Poor customer service. I would never store my stuff at apple storage ever again.

The units at the 121 Big Bay Point Road Barrie, Ontario location are clean and well kept; as well as the entire office team are WONDERFUL! Staff are courteous, professional and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this location for your storage needs. I give 10 stars.

I was so disappointed for the customer service that she did. We called ahead many times to book for a spot and pay ahead but she told us just come to get a spot. We came before the office close but she told us it will be closed in 10 minutes and the papers will be done about 20 minutes.After all transactions, she did all paperwork’s on time.

Great location to rent from, I've had 3 units and a couple parking spot for a few years now and I haven't had any complaints. Gated, coded gate, cameras and maintenance, very well kept place. Recently moved out to a shop with more space but will be keeping them in mind in the future for further storage needs. Jacquie in the office has been great for helping with problem, kind and courtesy. The rest of the same has been great and everyone has a smile on there face. Great customer service 5/5 👏

Hello Everyone,

I'm writing this review for an understanding of what you'll be dealing with.

Strike 1
I inquired on a storage unit and spoke with Rob regarding some funny wording when registering online. It says "For that extra peace of mind, all of our units come with $15,000 insurance coverage. Higher limits are available for residential tenants." He mentioned that it doesn't come with insurance, you must pay in addition to the posted rate. Rob explained that there is no insurance that comes with the unit. The wording suggests otherwise.

Strike 2
The next day, I called Rob to confirm the reservation. When going over the price, Rob mentioned that there is a $22 up front service fee that he will happily waive, only if I leave a google review. This, I took issue with. Reviews are based on quality of service, not an unethical exchange such as this. When he expressed this to me, my initial reaction was to outline how unethical this was and that Rob should bring this to the attention of his superiors, but he was happy to tow the line. My response was pointed and questioned how many other ways they may lack integrity if I was to proceed. It was left at this.

Strike 3
20 minutes after this call, Rob expressed that he reviewed the call and that he is not interested in my business and that I pose a threat to him and the staff at the storage facility. Yes, I was pointed, and this response is because I expressed that I won't sell my morals for $22 and may very well leave a review based on this poor conduct.

Please note, I understand that these fees are small, but the lack of integrity screams louder than any dollar amount.

Consumers, please don't exchange money for reviews. Businesses are expected to receive these as a reflection of their offerings and value of service. Companies/employees work very hard to serve you properly for good reviews, this one wants to take the underhanded route. This company wanted their hands in my pocket before the transaction was even completed, they will do the same to you.

In summary, Rob and Apple Express, we aren't doing business together, but I hope you accept that this review is on the house ;-)

We have been using this storage address for about 6 years now. Recently, Apple Storage took this business over and in doing so, immediately raised their rates by $30 per month! $30!!!! Shortly after, we started receiving harassing calls (on the payment date) from the manager saying payment has not yet been received!!!! On the automatic PAYMENT DATE??? We have Apple storage set up on automatic payment for the 1st of every month and on the 1st of every month this payment goes through. I tried to explain to the manager that this is inappropriate business conduct and to please stop calling us on the payment date. We pay our bills on time, all the time, and in actual fact, given our incredible payment history, they should NOT be calling us at all! Why would the manager not recognize this? I understand that he may be having problems collecting from other customers but we are not those customers!!!! He called me again today, Sept 1st, 2022 to inform me that he hadn't received his payment yet! It's not even the end of the flippin' day! I got quite upset with Rob this time around and he actually suggested I cancel my contract with him. What?????? So now he's suggesting to just throw our business away? Business that pays on time, all the time??? AM I missing something here? What happened to customer service? We are solid customers!!! And just to be clear, I checked our business account today, Sept 1st, 2022, and of course the payment went through...as it always does. Jeeze, makes you wonder what's happening out there when a business owner/manager is willing to throw solid, good paying customers away because he is challenged on his lack of business ethics. I have to say that the previous owners were amazing. We really enjoyed doing business with them hence our long term business relationship.

Driveways are in very bad condition. Every building is numbered the same, starting at 1. So that is confusing. But the ground level, outdoor access is convenient to drive right to own unit.
