I agree that it is a very clean, secure and friendly facility. Very accommodating when you bring your belongings there and great rates. But watch out if you are going overseas and have issues with payments through no fault of your own. Your stuff is gone.
I left my belongings there in October of 2024. I set up interact payments with Penticton Self Storage and expected no issues. But there ended up being several . The e-mail provided to me for interact transfer, was not the one registered with Valley Credit Union now First West Credit Union, so payments could not be processed. I was not aware of this particular issue till I returned from Portugal. When I had trouble with my debit card several tines in Portugal, I offered to send the payment by Western Union or MoneyGram and was refused. I then phoned my bank from Portugal and had a cheque drawn up to pay up the balance. It was sitting at Valley Credit Union. In Penticton for over a month, five minutes away, and not collected. The office was well aware of all my attempts to settle the account.
I was the victim of identity theft/cyber crime here in Canada and it followed me to Portugal. Auctioning off all I had left to my name, including medical devices to assist my disabilities and my specially made lilac wooden bed and orthopaedic mattress, and all my personally identifying documents , including tax returns , transcripts from colleges, and personal letters, was not kind of deserved to say the least . And made the continuance of identity theft almost a guarantee. I am back in Canada and living in a homeless shelter with nothing but my clothes. Thanks Penticton. Self Storage for revictimizing me.

These are always easy to talk to. Have a great selection of moving supplies. If they don’t have any storage put your name on a list and they’ll call you when one comes available. The storage units can be heated and are well light and clean. Security is well maintained with access codes and gate.

This place is affordable and central. What brings my rating way down is the staff and not all staff, but the manager. She is very judgemental and arrogant! Not what I was expecting from someone who had been so kind when we first met.

Outstanding facility. Out of town move was no problem. Emailed me the contract, met my moving truck and made sure all was secure. They literally had a solution for every issue I had. Ladies in office were so nice and great senses of humour. I actually enjoyed the experience thanks to them.

I believe this storage facility to be the best in the city for so many reasons. Located in central Penticton. Many compartments to choose from, many sizes and prices to choose from. Perhaps the largest facility in the city. Very clean units, some with lighting. Friendly staff available during open hours. Excellent security!! It's a gated compound as well. Offers great piece of mind. I'd recommend this facility hands down.
