Brilliant Mini Storage

I highly recommend this storage facility! We moved from the coast to Rossland and had storage arranged in Trail, when we arrived in Trail we discovered our stuff would not be safe or secure and had to cancel our arrangements. I called Michael on a Sunday afternoon asking if he happened to have a unit available immediately as we had to unload our trailer and return it to the coast. He was extremely helpful and friendly! Within an hour he had made space for us and we were able to unload all our belongings in a safe, secure, dry, affordable 10x10 unit. Plus we were able to drive right up to the unit, open the garage style door and easily unload.

We paid for a unit a month in advance to secure it. We arrived with our moving van full of our household furniture and belongings only to find our space rented to someone else. We got the leftover Unit which had a hole in the floor open to the ground covered only by a loose board. We were assured that wouldn’t be an issue.
2 years later we moved our belongings out and there were mouse droppings all over our boxes, bins and on the floor. When we unpacked we found mouse droppings in our drawers, mouse pee in dresser drawers and on clothing and other belongings. We had to disinfect everything.
I spoke to the owner, provided photos of our soiled stuff and he admitted there had been issues in the past, which we were not made aware of when we rented the unit. He apologized and put mouse prevention in place for current tenants but no compensation for us.

Professionally run facility that actually respects your privacy and secures/protects your belongings at reasonable rate$.

Compared to a couple of jokes for "Secure Storage " I looked at in the area that didnt even have locks on the gates etc, Brilliant Mini-Storage gives you what you pay for and the rooms are very large for the same $ those jokers at those other facilities were trying to charge for not securing my valuables.

Nice to deal with Michael Cleare and Co. who run it as a business, not just as a hobby, and enforce the easy-to-follow rules in place for everyones protection. You can pay with e-transfer for mutual convenience too.

FEATURE Brilliant Mini-Storage has free onsite courtesy carts and furniture dollies to ease your back moving the heavier items in and out, especially when you are doing it solo like me. ; D

Note: I had to drop a star for a couple of random security glitches I came across that were very likely from naive or inconsiderate renters in a hurry who probably use "password" on all their banking information and computers.
Show some respect for other renters valuables people.
