The quality of invitations here is amazing...you can get the best of the best here. I found the service amazing and very helpful. The women that work there know what they are talking about especially the young woman. I spoke with her and she has over 15 years experience in this industry...no wonder all of my invitations from there have been met with so much praise. As for the negative comments. You cannot get a mercedes and expect to pay the price of a honda. And for people that think they were ignored or had rude service perhaps it is your own insecurities that lead you to not have an approachable manner.

I agree with the comments about the service being uninterested/snotty. At best they are totally unhelpful, at worst they are actually disdainful. In this day and age, how many brides are going to give them a blank cheque to do invitations?

I went in there to look for paper for invitations and was totally ignored. Then someone wearing a suit walked in and was immediately helped. There is one younger woman who works there that is particularly mean - she literally blew right by me without making eye contact and made it clear she was going to be unpleasant to deal with if I stuck around to wait until she had finished catering to the guy wearing the suit.
This place is totally overpriced and hopefully rapidly becoming a relic of the past.

I love love love my invites from Wintons! Soooooo great and got so many compliments on them! I really felt the invites set the tone of my wedding and Wintons understood that. I really like how they catered towards your style, needs and affordability. They were very nice and I felt that I got the quality I deserved at the right price.... It was way better than doing invites on my own or going somewhere else. I went to the WRITE PLACE which did invites that were like knock offs of Wintons. ONLINE STUFF SUCKS cause it looks totally different than in pics than what you ordered..omg I wish I had just gone to Wintons in the first place...they saved my LIFE

I went in to Winton's recently to get ideas for our wedding invitations. I'm a 30 year old male who definitely needs help in this area. The woman working there that day was incredibly unhelpful and rude. She knew I didn't know much about invitations so her answers to my questions were quite terse and unhelpful. She made no effort to help me with design and cost effective solutions. Perhaps she's not an expert in the area of fine paper products. I decided to try our De Serres art supplies on Main street. They have many of the same papers but at a quarter the cost. What would have cost me over $1000 at Winton's I can do myself for $300 at De Serres. Plus the service is much better and professional. They also have a great selection of other supplies that gave me great ideas for the rest of our wedding. Kudos to De Serres, screw Winton's.

This is a very beautiful and elegant store in the heart of Kitsilano. I highly recommend taking a look at this store, especially if you are into fine stationery and take pleasure in writing hand written notes. They do wonderful personalize stationary but also have a wide range of cards from Cute to simplistic Vera Wang.

I completely disagree with the snobby service comment! I recently did my wedding invitations this year at Wintons and not only was the staff extremely hospitable but my invitations were spectacular!!! There is no place that does invites like them. They truly catered towards your needs and Priceline and created invites that were your own personal style....I have since done birth announcements with them as well as made personalized stationery for my friends and family as gifts.

Plenty of designs to be had for your wedding but service is terribly snobby. A bit uninterested in providing much service if any. But probably the best designs for your wedding invitations to be had in Vancouver
