Things continue to get worse at Bertins...substandard hay, counselors who are too young and inexperienced. Please do not send your kids to this barn for summer camp. The horses are to be sold at auction at the end of august so neal bertin is not taking care of them. Such a sad state of affairs for a long history. His parents cared...he does not.
Things continue to get worse at Bertins...substandard hay, counselors who are too young and inexperienced. Please do not send your kids to this barn for summer camp. This barn is a lovely place for children to experience horses and other animals, like donkeys, ducks, chickens, rabbits, cats & dogs!
The instructors are fun and knowledgeable and take into concern the safety and experience of each rider.
The owner of the farm is an experienced show coach. Students have the opportunity to attend at various off property shows and in house shows.
Staff always thinks of fun ideas for the kids including Easter egg hunts & haunted houses!
The horses are well cared for, and have more than enough to eat!!
Sometimes the barn can use some more cleanliness, however, being a barn it is expected!

I seriously love this place. I have learned so much here. I totally disagree with half these reviews. Most of these are from parents. Now remember the saying if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all
This place is poorly ran.
The owners are both dishonest and they lack finesse and they are BOTH RUDE!
They treat their animals like slaves and safety for riders/children in not taken into account AT ALL.
They are understaffed and their workers are barely teenagers who are expected to take care and ran the place themselves.
They have cheap rates yes but you get what you pay for and at this place is NOTHING...no one is certified here!
The filth in this place is scary. I am in schock that no one has reported this place to an animal abuse agency.
It is clear the owners need to close this place down, they have lost the passion for horses and it shows...that is they ever had a passion for them.
I would NOT RECCOMMEND this place for Lessons, Boarding, part boardind, leasing DRop your child off on weekends or during the week.

This is the best place ever. And who Ever says it is not. There is something ring with you and get a life. I will tell the owner you said that. And I have been riding there for a year and I already know how to jump faith hole. I recommend this place
Filthy barn, dirty animals, and snotty staff. Avoid this place.
The instructors are not certified. I learned more in a month at a different barn then I did in the 5 years I rode at bertins. would not recommend to anyone as it is a waste of time and money
I learned many things from here in just about 4 lessons!!!!
