Camden Spa, Toronto Reviews (2)
I heard that Camden spa won the 2007 Canadian Spa Awards for the best spa facial, so I went there to try it. I have to say that their facial is superb and I love it!
I also got a email from them saying that they are giving a $25 for their facial through localgroupdeals.com, I believe it is a good deal for facial lovers in Toronto.

After hearing some great reviews from friends about Camden Spa, I decided to head over and try out one of their facial treatments. The great thing about Camden Spa is that they offer only one facial - it's really simple. The treatment is tailored to the skintype during the treatment anyways so there's no point in offering 10 different facials because you just choose one that's wrong for your skin. The spa is on a little side street, Camden Street, which is perfect because it's quiet. It's a lovely little spa with original wood flooring, soft colours and very, very nice staff (although the girl at front desk, Neha?, was kind of a real space cadet).
I had my facial with Leslie, who apparently was the esthetician that helped Camden Spa capture the 2007 Best Spa Facial Award. She is a complete pro and immediately made me feel that she knew what she was doing. I had a facial last year at a big, well known spa at King/Portland (won't name the name but it begins with Hammam) and boy, for the ridiculous price that I paid, my esthetician knew less about skincare than I did! Anyways, Leslie did an awesome job because my skin felt great after, with no reactions and a beautiful after-glow that lasted for days. And what I found even more amazing was the price. At $85, it was the best and the least expensive of any facial I have ever had. No wonder they won the best facial award - I would vote for them hands down!
