Make sure you do NOT sign any contract with this Company. They always forget to remove snow. You should keep your money and wait for the snow melt in the spring. Or keep a few shovels close by as you will need them. They are pathetic and much more professional and reliable providers out there. I totally regret engaging with this useless Company!!!
Worst company in 30 years I had snow removal. Comes very early in the morning and next time Between 8 and 9h30 at night. Sent complaints, pictures,. Not even the decency to get back to me once. Pierrefonds Des Cageux area.
They should change their name to SCAM AND RUNJACK
Pay close attention!! I didn't sign a contract with Slyjack "2022 winter" for "SNOW REMOVAL" just to be scammed. It's not my job to send you phone reminders with no one at the other end. You took our money and you need to get serious with snow removal or your business will ultimately die. NDIP.
No pride in their work, especially true of the shovellers and the office staff. Pay for the work and they insult the customer when the work is poorly done, do nothing to complete it, leaving it to me, a 73 year old woman, to clear in front of the garage to where the tractor stopped to say nothing of the sloppy job on the stairs. Company will not succeed if they don’t improve on their 1.25 rating by providing professional service by all staff.

I have paid for the service of cleaning the driveway, front walkway and the side of the house. I had to go and see them 2 times to let them know that no one had passed by to clean. I had expressed how important it was to do this because my mother in law is alone and has CLSC nurses coming to the house and that they use the side door as an entrance. I came to visit my mother in law this morning and again the snow was not cleaned. I had to do it.

The most ignorant, rude office manager that I just spoke with Joanne. Quite possibly the most offensive conversation I've ever had when I was looking for some accountability on the poor customer service I've received to date this year. I was met with disregard, criticism, and personal attacks by this woman. Not to mention being hung up on twice by her and told that I am miserable person just looking to make other people miserable today. I have never in my life spoken to someone in the service industry with such ignorance. She is clearly the one who is looking to make people miserable today. I am completely appalled by the attitude of this front of house staff. Ownership and senior management team at Syljack really need to take a look at the numerous reviews surrounding the same issues and make some serious changes. To start, a class for Joanne on etiquette and professionalism.
This is by far the worst snow removal service company of them all. I would give 0 stars or less if I could. I have had to call them every single time there was a snowfall. Otherwise, they don't come at all. The receptionist is useless and rude. She just asks for your address and tells you she'll send a truck. Which sometimes takes 24 hours.( never less than 6 hours after I called). She even hung up on me one time. It really is a "shame" that they treat their customers like this. Also, when they do come, they do such a poor job of snow removal that I have about 4 inches of snow compacted on my driveway.They only pass by once per snow storm. I hope they will be out of business soon, because no one will ever renew their contract. I strongly recommend that no one use this company next year so you don't get taken advantage of, and lied to, like the rest of us have.
This past snow fall on November 12, 2019, I finally spoke with a live person at 1:00 pm and 3:00pm, that was after leaving several messages and calling in total 46 times. Not only was the woman I spoke with rude at first, because as she told me , she was getting so many calls and people were yelling at her. Well.....what do you expect, my contract says starting as of November 1, 2019 they will pick up the snow. I paid my invoice in full, Aug 1, 2019 and had my markers up early. Even though, I was told rudely that a driver was dispatched to my house, he never showed up. I had to pay someone else to clean my driveway as the city truck plowed me in. I sent an email to Syljack as well as left messages , as I want to be compensated for the breech in contract. I never received a reply from my email nor from any of my several voice mails. I called back today to inquire what they planned to do about it, and the customer service woman told me she did not know what to say and besides, she was leaving for Calgary today to visit her daughter and there was nothing she could do. She said that it said in my file that they dispatched someone to my house, so he went. I said he never came and by 9;00 pm that night, we had to pay someone else to clean with their snow blower. She said , well it says here he was dispatched, so maybe when he got there you had it done already. Keep in mind, I started calling them in the morning, but 9;00 pm and still no one had come. She out and out called me a liar. She promptly told me she had to go, because she was going to Calgary...…. I asked to speak with a manager and she tells me they are all out on the road, signing up new customers.....REALLY?? THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE ONES THEY ALREADY HAVE! I have been a customers for over 10 years, and this is the last straw. I will never sign another contract with them again. I wish I had read all the reviews before signing this year. My Bad....never again!!
Would give them no star at all if I could. Have used them for 3 years now with service degradation every year , would rate them this year as a ZERO. Cant reach them via phone, internet, Fax or otherwise. They don't answer so forget about trying to reach them. Never cleaned my driveway after the Nov. 12th snow fall, had included the step cleaning service for another $170 and had to chase them down for them to do that, finally came at 2:00PM Nov. 12th, when I had a Doctor appointment at 10:00 am and went through 20cm of snow and ice to get to the car in the driveway they never cleaned. Very last time I use this company or any of their derivatives like St-Charles etc. Buyer beware they don't give a crap, provide no customer service, clean your driveway like crap when they come, and, good luck to you if you use their services. NO MORE FOR ME!
In addition I would recommend that you visit the CBC Radio Canada site called La Facture, where you can ask for a full coverage of this company the Owners and the legit status of all the above.
Only the Syljack customers have yet to be cleared on my street for this first snowfall of Nov. 12th, 2019 and it is now 4:15 p.m. Other companies have passed twice but, I, on the other hand am completely plowed in!

6:45 p.m. and still no sign of Syljack clearing the snow!
This company is garbage! They have not came once to clear my driveway in 24 hours since a storm hit. Myself and 2 other tenants are stuck keeping our cars on the street, risking a ticket because our driveway is full of snow! Numerous calls and voicemails have gone unanswered. This is the second time in two snowstorms this has happened with this company. NEVER AGAIN! I’m starting to think they ran away from the storm since I haven’t seen one of their tractors but my neighbors with other companies have clear driveways.

I thought we had bad service with Duraguard, but Syljack managed to be worse. On their contract, it says that they will come before 6 am- I leave at 6h30, and so far during this very snowy winter, they only came before 6 once out of the 9 times or so that they came. I complained twice at the beginning, only to have the driver (I don't see who else would have done that in the morning) throw coffee on our garage door. Nothing like trying to shovel snow at minus 25 when you have to drive your kid to school. Never again will I sign with them!
Horrible service....to many calls to recount for clearing....they missed my block completely...unbelievable....this is the final time for them....once this winter is over they will not be renewed....as if they care right!...i realize that they are busy, Grant them that much, but to drive by and not even clean the mess at the end, ridiculous. We share a driveway and they do my neighbor but not my side, how stupid can you get....they don't deserve a rating, -0 would be adequate.....after 15 years the service has gotten worse each year as they grew larger....to the point of not caring or giving value for my hard earned money.
Had them for 2 years -- service was OK -- NOW - they are ALWAYS late -- They DO NOT answer the phone/voicemail always on. They only pass once and sometimes not at all. ALL the other companies like RICKS and DECORMAC etc.come around 3-4 times with nice clean driveways.

Last year they forgot to put us on their list for snow removal so we had to remind them since they have been doing my parents house for some years they apologized since then we need to call them to do my house continuously. My biggest mistake is renewing their contract my mother is elderly and doesn't like changes but next year they just lost both contracts

The worst snow removal company ever!! They never do what stated in their contract. My nighbours driveways are always cleared twice. However, I always have to call Syljack to ask why they still have not passed by. Rude and unprofessional people who can't deal with their clients. Bad service and bad customer service. I would never suggest anyone to go with this Comapny ( Syljack) and for me never ever again.

To start I'm a brand new customer for the 2016 season . They have not even passed once all the day I left in the am came back at 6 pm still nobody passed not a great start my niegahbours guy has passed 3 times already my wife told me !! When I call them no answer just sends u to a stupid online hold with crappy music and nobody answers I will never use them again intact gonna get my money back and go with some else maybe my niegahbours guy !!!!!!!!
Syljack was new to Ile Bizard last year. We went with them and they were fine. The winter season however, was a light one. Going to stick with them and hope the on time service continues.
