Upper Canada Mall

I have been going to UCM since moving to York Region 25 yrs ago. Have never had a bad experience until yesterday. It was my daughter's birthday yesterday and I was there with her 2 friend's and my other daughter. We split up to shop as we usually do. I want off in one direction and they in another. We were to meet in the food court in an hour. I merrily went on my way to spend money on my birthday girl. The girl's were all seated in the food court and I could tell they were uncomfortable by the looks on their faces. They pointed out a large group of young adult's at one of the rather large oval tables and said they were giving them dirty looks and one of the girl's at the other table had given them the finger. I said to just ignore them. My kid's had to return to a store so I waited in the food court for their return. I sat at a table far away from said hoodlum's whilst keeping an eye on them. One of the girl's from the hoodlum group proceeded to make a rather loud phone call. She was cursing and tell whomever she was speaking to get to the effing mall, etc. Not a phone call I would want little one's to over hear. After a minute or two, this group headed out to have a smoke. My daughter's and their friend's returned and we left as well. As we exited the mall via the food court exit, this group started yelling at us, calling us numerous foul names and went into explicit sexual detail's about what they would do. I told my kids to keep walking and ignore the lowlife's. And we did. I would like to add that my kids and their 2 friend's are all honour roll student's who have never been in trouble in their lives. I don't think the same can be said for this group fo lowlife's. One of the older youth's had tattoo's all over his forhead and neck but was only about 5'5 inches tall. My suggestion to you as Mall Manager's is to keep an eye on the food court and smoking area's. Your customer's do not go to the mall in the hopes of being harrassed. My family spend's a lot more money at this mall then those wanker's, so you have to ask yourself, who are you trying to attract as customer's? Is is the lowlife's who spend no money and most probably shoplift or a family of law abiding business owner's????? This group caught me off guard, next time I will be ready for them.
