Browns Shoe Shops, North York Reviews (1)
Ok this is a bit insane, but really I am not going to pay $500+ for shoes no matter whose name is on it. What happened to Browns, use to be you could go in and get a good pair of shoes at a reasonable price. Considering most shoes they carry in there are on trend, why would you spend the $$$. Plus they have a snobby vibe now to go along with their $$$$. You can only shop in there now if things are on sale where you may find a pair of shoes for $99.00.
I will give it to them they have some beautiful shoes, and once you start putting the dollar signs behind them the quality is good, but they should have kept that to the store in Holts and kept to the reasonable price points they had before. No matter which store you go to now you are going to have to mortgage a house for something to put on your feet. For shoes on trend could just as easily to go 9West or Town shoes and come away with quality shoes that do not break the bank.
Disappointed in the direction this chain has gone towards catering to the elite, that’s what Davids’ was for. Oh well they won’t be seeing me until the next sale if that. Use to buy 3 – 4 pairs of shoes there a year…now be lucky if they get one pair from me. Something is wrong when Stuart W. shoes are not the lower end of the store price points just below their own label.
