Comfort Zone, Halifax Reviews (1)
In my experience, this shop sells over-priced boots footwear that come with no guarantee of quality. I recently purchased a pair of boots that cost $200, wore them for a few weeks (during which I treated / cleaned them as directed) only to have them begin to fall apart with the sole completely separating from the body of the boot.
I returned with my receipt in hand and politely requested a refund. Twice I was told that the owner would need to be present to respond to the situation. On the third occasion, he did appear and told me all he could offer was to have the footwear re-glued. I suggested that this was not acceptable since the boots were obviously of poor quality and would likely come apart again. The owner was rude and dismissive and did nothing to rectify the situation. A refund (as most quality shoe stores provide), replacement of the boots or even a store credit would have gone a long way to making this a less negative retail experience. As it stands, they have lost my business and I will gladly share this with anyone looking to buy footwear.
Buyer beware! The Comfort Zone at Park Lane Mall in Halifax NS does not stand behind their merchandise. And good luck standing (and walking) in their shoes!
