PROS:
- Good location: It's one of the busiest gas stations in Richmond.
- Has a lot of amenities.
- Open 24/7
CONS:
- I only come to this gas station if I'm really running low on gas. I have to wait for a pump, either because some gas pumps are out of service or the attendants simply don't serve you attentively.
- The station is always jammed with drivers who do not know which direction to drive. It can get dangerous sometimes with cars going in and out of the station and their car wash.
- Quality of service is usually very low. There are a couple of good attendants but sadly, they are in the minority. I see many gas attendants standing around doing nothing, and many are not very attentive to cars coming in for a gas fill up. I compare this to other full-serve stations where they (at least) ask if you want your tires, oil and/or wiper fluids checked. As well, some gas attendants don't "process your payments correctly" and some are awfully rude to drivers in denying that they "incorrectly processed your payment" (and I'm putting this very mildly)...
- Usually when you offer payment to the gas attendant they fill the gas... but not here! Many (not all) attendants make you get out of your car and go in to the store to pay for your gas. So, what is really going on here? I thought this was full-serve, not semi-self-serve? I'm an old guy and I was extremely disappointed especially since I was limping with an injury. There was one time where two young gas attendants expressed their extreme displeasure of assisting me and other customers, and they did not seem to care... one the attendants even stated that "I caused trouble"! It's disappointing that some young workers are coasting along with such work ethic and behaviour...
- The staff inside usually are quite oblivious to the customers waiting to just get out of this place and typically do not help out in such situations.
- Car wash station sometimes if out of service. At times, I do see vehicles moving in and out of the station during a car wash. Aren't they supposed remained parked throughout the entire car washing process?
Sorry, unless there's substantial improvements to the gas station and their service, I already feel very generous giving only one star.
