This is the most amazing school. For the following reasons:

1) Social Life: I have never been surrounded by more accepting, friendly, compassionate, big-hearted, helpful people in my life, EVER. The school is generally VERY challenging but if you work hard, and you manage your time, I swear you can have a life as well.

2) Academics: I will not lie that King is like a junior version of U of T - St. George. King is like a pool for the best students. Not to say, that's our entire population but generally, we have a lot of high-achieving individuals. After communicating with other people from many different TDSB high schools and American kids, I find that our curriculum is so ENRICHED. That's to say, I find we are considerably more knowledgeable students (Of course, minus IB and specialized students) If you can handle King and reach a 90+ average, you will be prepared for university because minus a handful of dumb nut teachers, almost the entire staff are VERY hard markers.

Sports: WE ARE AMAZING. Our school performs remarkably and that's all to be said. Improving over the years like CRAZY. We have many different sports teams that are award winning and make it to OFSAA or city finals.

Arts: If you wanted to go to Wexford or a different Arts school but fell in love with R.H King. SHSM is the most amazing program for all Arts students and NOW the school is offering Arts and Culture Leadership. Having said that, both schools will certify you upon graduation with a distinct certificate acknowledging your completion of the program and they're just so extraordinary. The most notable courses is: Musical Theatre!

Overall Atmosphere: It's just a bright, beautiful school and I am graduating next year and if I could, I WOULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. I am so heartbroken that I have to leave because these were the best FOUR years of my life and I think nothing can beat it. You are never alone in that school and it feels like learning with a family and certain teachers are just beyond incredibly supportive.

I hope you choose this HEAVEN on EARTH.

This is the place where staying up until 3 a.m to study or finish an essay is worth it, because your grade is more MEANINGFUL than let's say another school... ;)

BEST of luck to prospective students.

The marking is very challenging but on a positive note, teachers put their best effort to teach their students.
