A great school ! My daughter is a student and I feel so fortunate to have such a school in the community. It is a valuable resource that deserves more support.

This school is a Jewel in the rough . Both of my children attended and graduated from LDVA. The school not only prepared them for higher learning but helped to instill values and develop positive character traits and learning skills. It was an excellent foundation for their future learning.
If you are looking for a school to nurture a healthy growth there is few that compare - if you are looking for frills and veneer its not for you.

Established in 1983, Leonardo Da Vinci Academy is nestled in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods Toronto has to offer, with spacious land that surrounds the school and provides beauty, opportunity for extracurricular sports as well as security for the students.
The Academy provides exceptional schooling within a Montessori environment from the Casa level (2.5 years to 6 years) to Lower Elementary (Grades 1 to 3). From grades 4 to 8 an enriched Ontario Curriculum is implemented which includes small classes, a safe environment and dedicated staff combined with a “Thinking Like Leonardo” philosophy for a solid foundation. At all grade levels and across the curriculum, students are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, learn from their mistakes, experience with all of their senses, be open minded, balance their creative and logical sides, and develop an appreciation for their connection with the universe.
From Casa (pre-school) to grade 8, teachers of the Leonardo Da Vinci Academy employ "Seven Da Vincian Principles " to help students explore their own creativity and intelligence. Children are encouraged to develop their full potential using strategies inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci to promote: problem solving, creative thinking, self-expression, an appreciation of the world, goal setting, and balancing body and mind.
