Awful school I attend this school and I cannot wait to transfer to another school, being in this school just I hate it, the assistant principal is very chill. One time my friend who was overweight had to wear a jersey because she was showing skin when she was only showing her shoulder, when someone else skinnier was showing her shoulders didn’t get in trouble?? I had someone tell me that one of their teachers said nowadays girls wear sexy for boys when she is a grown women upset about what young girls wear when it’s exactly none of her business, this school isn’t good. One time I got in trouble for calling my aunt to get me new clothing and the principal told me that I could go to the office but there’s a virus going around. The only teachers I approve is the ladies at the front desk and my grade 8 social studies teacher and my gr9 math and ela teacher including math.

Wilma is the best school I've ever been to, I was at a terrible school were I was bullied a lot and I find there is a lot less of that here. Of coarse bullying isnt 100% unavoidable. Teachers have helped me realize a lot in life like how I could be important. I'm going into grade 9 next year and I'm kind of worried because I've always been a bit of al loser so I will always be bullied. Ms Davies is an amazing teacher who helped me when things were tough, she will SOOOO know who I am if she reads this. LOL. I also love mrs stilles because she cares so much, she is the kind of person who you could have a convo with, which is rare for a teacher. One more year left and I never want to leave :'( Wilma will always be in my heart <3

Growing up as an outcast to people my age, i found a couple of teachers more then willing to go the extra mile to help me.

Thank you Mr Lebo

and most of all Thank you Mis MacDonell (I'm sorry I spent your last name wrong prolly)

From a girl who thought she was useless, weird and would never fit in, you taught me to be myself no matter what. It did take me a year or two to do so, but I actually did.

Love you all!!!!

Oh and I give you many many thanks for being so patient with me, learning trombone in a cast up to my shoulder, flipping it over and playing on left side I got so used to. I'm sorry but I kinda failed at high school band, it was basically self taught over some guy who actually had private lessons, course I lost. But if you though what I said to you was bad ha ha!!! you have no idea what went on with my gr 10 band teacher.

Only thing I think of was I was doing something bad, he said "If you were my child I would smack you" and I said, you'd prolly like that too much... ummm kicked outta class lol I liked the band hallway, was all art class stuff, so in 11 I dropped band nd took art, sculpted an amazing dragon, but it blew up in the kiln ;.;

Anywho, thank you Mr.Lebo for doing for me all you did

As a parent to a chid who is graduating from Wilma Hansen Jr. High into High School, my experiance with this school has been less than satisfactory. It is my belief that the educators do not take bullying seriously, and therefore do not promote awareness of positive self esteem. I personally have felt that the staff at this location are modivated in the wrong areas, and they seem too tired to address important concerns of some of the parents.

I graduated from Wilmas many years about and when i was bullied i went right back itno the school and reported it. And they helped me out tons. perhaps your kid just says to you they been bullied, but is not the schools fauilt for that, is what the child does about it. If he cries to his parents, the school can do nothing, if he goes to the principle, then the school knows and can act upon it.

Do not blame the school for your childs bullying, the teachers and staff do not know unless your child tells them.
