The Ranch, Oakville Reviews (7)
I had an okay time although the family behind us got rob of a experience that should of been awesome the girl got a slow horse that the group leader said was slow and still gave it to her and then BLAMED her for not making the horse go fast by kicking it over and over saying it will go numb but then told her to kick it more and then they didn’t give my mother a photo she asked for and then when she asked if she can get on my horse she said “ once you off, your off” what type of dumb policy is that and the trail wasn’t 1 hour it was more like 45 min and it was kinda plane
My family and I have gone on trail rides and recently started doing lessons at The Ranch. The staff is really warm and helpful, and the coach does a great job with my daughter (who started out afraid of Penny!). I would and will recommend The Ranch to anyone looking to enjoy horseback riding.
I agree with the review above. I took riding lessons at the ranch, and found the lessons to be very poor. The riding instructor texted on her phone most of my lessons as well, or would go into the viewing room and give me exercises to do while she chatted with other people. Not worth riding here in the future. Try Schellenburg stables down the street. They have better credentials then Cheryl.
The horses are safe and well taken care of the trails are nice the staff is kind and caring and they really care about the horses I've taken lessons there and learned a ton all of the coaches are very informative and I'm glad I picked the ranch
The trails and lessons are phenomenal! Helpful and knowledgable lesson instructor and very informative trail staff. I got my membership and am now enjoying the trails solo:)
Trail riding is tops at The Ranch. But the lessons are vague and unstructured. Every class the instructor spent the majority of the time texting on her phone or gossiping/talking with her co-workers & friends. We learned very little in 10 weeks and the lessons were very expensive.
Its a very nice place with a lot of people who work their that are determined to help anyone in need.
