Miracle Ranch near Winnipeg cannot be trusted. I know this because I worked for Miracle Ranch owner operators Phyllis, Dave and Elfrieda for over 10 years. They make numerous verbal agreements that they do not follow threw with.
Eventually I decided to talk with Dave because phyllis is not capable, i found that they make excuses in their own benefit. Expressing my concern for not received employee agreement benefits I attempted to talk it threw in Dave and Elfriedas home in a casual conversation. Eventually Dave and Elfrieda confirm that they will authority over vulnerable employees. As I start the process of departing Phyllis enters Daves home with a trained police german shepherd. I saw dave acknowledge a signal to phyllis who was behind me with the dog. Then dave gave me a 2 hand push so i stepped back to get my balance to be met by a german shepherd biting the back of my shoulder threw my clothing. I turned around as the dog dropped to the ground. Immediately I stepped backward to get a 2nd attack from the dog biting and breaking my bare foot and toes. In pain I unintentionally squatted downward when the dog did a 3rd attack. Jumping up at my face to bite a hole threw my cheek cracking 2 teeth inside the gums, just 1/4" from my eye and nose. Dave & Elfrieda Loewen and Phyllis Shaw (Phyllis Howe) helped drive me to the hospital.
Unfortunately my harmonizing personality forgives people instantly, so didn't press charges. Now i have thousands of dollars of health related bills, non stop pain, and psychological harm is unexplainable. The physical pain has had a domino effect of problems, yet alone the psychological problems of pretending that Miracle Ranch management would give justice. Now days they compare my injury to pain in an 80 year persons foot from a stubbed toe. Yet alone they have hired a receptionist (Keith) that is telling me “go jump off a bridge.”

Stupid me, I still feel like i will receive justice after experiencing their reward and punishment tactics along with christianity promises.

Take it or leave it to see for yourself how Miracle Ranch Management conduct business.

Recently, my friends and I went for a trail ride at miracle ranch. We had a really good time and saw the gravel pits, which were absolutely beautiful. Would recommend!

We adopted a red Australian labradoodle from Miracle Ranch and are very happy. Phyllis clearly cares about her dogs/puppies and is extremely knowledgable. Our puppy is absolutely lovely in temperament and is a healthy handsome boy. We would highly recommend Miracle Ranch labradoodles to anyone.

we got a labradoodle puppy from Miracle Ranch. There was only 2 left in the litter. the pups were almost 6 months old, not house broken, had not been handled by humans. they spent all day in a large cage called a "nursery". they wouldn't come when you called them, no interest in humans. Both pups were covered in fees, yeast infections in ears and matted hair.
Needless to say our pup requires and still does a great deal of socializing. He is often aggressive. Terrified of men. Not all what I expect for breeders who charge $800 per pup.

My family and I went for a trail ride at Miracle Ranch. Despite being cold, we had a fantastic time! Everyone seemed to be happy and the guides showed us exactly what to do. Would go again.

Myself and two friends decided it would be fun to go here for an hour long ride.

First of all, we called the site about 15-20 minutes before we arrived to confirm we were almost there, but no one greeted us. We wandered around and waited for about 10-15 minutes before finally our trail guide came into the stable handling the horses and snapping at us to be quiet so we wouldn't spook the horses.

Our guide was incredibly rude and apparently, inexperienced. She was turned around in her saddle lecturing us about what we were doing wrong when her horse tripped and she was thrown from it. She was yelling at us to stop our horses (they already were) and she claimed she had hit her head. We asked her several times if we could turn around and go back because the day was ruined for us and we were scared. We were told we couldn't because someone was working with machinery near the stables and the horses would be too scared to go near it.

I find it incredibly irresponsible and dangerous that there was no way to call or radio in for help if we needed it. How is that safe?

The incident happened only 5 minutes into our 1 hour ride, so we spent the next 40 minutes going at a snail's pace while our guide walked with her horse in circles. It was so boring. I wrote this review not just to complain about the boring ride and it not being worth the money, I seriously think this business needs to review its safety precautions and change them or else be shut down.

If you do choose to go here (please don't) make sure you bring your cell phone with you or something in case you have to call 911.

We went for our trail ride myself, my son age 4 and daughter age 8 . We all have regular rides on horses. They told us because of my daughters age they would do a short lesson in the barn and then go out on the trail, well ok fine. But what happend was we spent 55 min, no lie in the barn and 5 min on the " trail" or pasture more like it. Not because we couldn't handle the horse, no explanation just take the money and run! If we had know that we would spend our lovely afternoon inside a dark barn we wouldn't have! NEVER going back!

My family went horseback riding at Miracle Ranch yesterday. None of us had ridden horse before, and therefore did not know what to expect. The guide took the time before the ride to explain how the horses worked and what we would need to do when we are on the one hour ride. The guide was very informative and helpful. My children (ages 8yrs, 11yrs) had a great time!! We will be going back again for more horseback riding on the trails. THANK YOU MIRACLE RANCH FOR A WONDERFUL TIME.

I went there for a trail ride with friends... I own a horse of my own so I know exactly what I was seeing. Walking by the extremely wet and muddy paddocks not a blade of grass anywhere and little hay there stood the most pathetic sight I have seen a small group of horses standing in the mud well past their ankles and up their legs with not a dry spot to stand one of the horses walked up where I noticed open oozing saddle sores. I pointed all this out to my friends we left with out putting a dime in their pockets.. To the owners if you read this You are a diagrace to real horse owners who care properly for their horses.. It is obviously a money making venture only with no care or consideration shown your horses shame on you..my advice find a responsible trail riding establishment who care for their horses not Miracle ranch

I was traumatized after my experience at Miracle Ranch. Myself and some friends booked a 2 hour evening ride and the first hour went great, after the first hour we went back to the barn to drop off a couple people and then went back out for another hour.. and while leaving for the second hour the owner Phyllis said "better hurry and go now no time for breaks you better get out before the storm hits!".. so we reluctantly went back out, and all of a sudden were stuck in the middle of an extreme storm while we were walking through sand dunes. Our leaders were 15 YEARS OLD AND 9 YEARS OLD!! Both of which were screaming and crying, you couldn't see a foot infront of you because of the rain and wind and sand, and everyone was panicking because we had no idea how to get back. People were getting bucked off their horses and injured and we ended up having to walk our horses back, still not being able to see anything and completely drenched. when we finally got back to the barn everyone was either crying or pissed off. We waiting around for about 20 minutes because we figured Phyllis was out looking for us, turns out she was sitting in her house.. so we asked one of the girls to call her and tell her we wanted to talk to her, and PHYLLIS never showed up. so finally we left and one of my friends called her and she non chilantly said "well are you upset because the weather changed"? UH NO... we're upset because A : you sent us out knowing there was going to be a storm with 2 young girls who were way underqualified and didn't know CPR or first aid, B : You should've called us to come back as soon as it started lightning as both the girls had cell phones on them, and C : if not A and B, you should've been waiting at the barn to make sure everyone was okay. but instead you sat in your house with the blinds shut and said there was nothing you could do. HOW ABOUT try actually giving a crap about your paying customers and their safety, and making sure the people you send them out with know CPR and first aid, and preferable aren't 15 or 9 years old.
It sounds dramatic, but it was like out of a horror movie and I was definitely traumatized, I was happy to have made it out alive.
Thanks miracle ranch for ruining horseback riding for me and my friends!!

We booked a sleigh ride for our family for Boxing day. Based on the website photo under Sleigh Ride I assumed we would be going on a sleigh. When we arrived at our scheduled time, there was no one around and when we finally got a hold of someone, by phone, we were told that they weren't ready for us and did not know when they could be ready for us. We waited for an hour for our so called sleigh ride. What we actually got was a ride on a hay trailer that was covered in snow with some loose straw strewn about on it. The website shows a nice sleigh with bench seats being pulled on a trail lined with spruce or pine trees. Reality was a ride on a snowy hay trailer through a pasture filled with scrub and bare trees. It was awful. After the ride was over everyone from the Ranch, once again disappeared. DO NOT EVER BOOK A SLEIGH RIDE AT MIRACLE RANCH! NOT EVER!! IT is AWFUL!!

We were very disappointed! Our daughter's birthday party was booked weeks in advance but at the ranch we waited for 30 minutes for our turn to go on the trail ride; so instead of 1 hour we had only 30 minutes but were asked to pay for one full hour. How cool is that!?
Would not recommened to anyone.
