Mountainview Estates

I would not recommend this seniors home to anyone under present management, REASON WHY?My mother in law was bought to the hospital in ambulance during Christmas, after being seen by the doctor was discharged to go back to Mountainview Estates where she has resided for the past 6 years. When the ambulance driver came to take her back the manager, Barb Baker advised the hospital that she wasn't taking her back.She ended up in the hospital for a full month going from holding floor to holding floor until we could get another home for her. The first of February we were able to get her a room in Meadows, a 25 minute drive from Corner Brook. This was done during Christmas, how inhumane is that, animals are treated better. She wasn't allowed to go back to her home to pick up any personal items, say good bye to her friends or pick up her Christmas gifts still under her tree. There's a lot more to this sad situation which will be revealed later.
