This place is very special to me. I would not recommend going here for the food, but the stunning view plus drinks plus the right company makes for a very lovely and memorable evening. Make sure you sit on the side with the view of the city though.
In the past year and a half, I have been to this restaurant 4 times. The interior is comfortable, the view is amazing, but service from the management to the actual service lacks the most important thing a restaurant needs..... Service.
This last time I was there, it was a busy Friday night. I had made reservations about a month before because it was for a table of about 20. 2 weeks later, I was called by the manager, was told to call back in a week to make the reservation again because she was not sure if they would be open. I explained the issues of previous visits, told her it was a special night, and that I really didn't want anything to go wrong. She assured me that if they were to be open to the public that night, she would make sure everything went smoothly. I called a week later and made the reservations, and called twice to confirm.
The night of the event, a few of us arrive early to make sure everything was in order. The host and hostess were incredibly rude as they told me that they did not have out reservation. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told she was away and would not be back for a few days. We were very rudely asked to sit at the bar where we ordered and paid for drinks. We were then taken to a private room that would be great if we were just having drinks, but a few couches and chairs circling a coffee table is not good for dinner. As guests arrived we sat and waited for some service, asking the hostess 3 times to send someone in. After an hour and a half, we left since we already paid for the drinks at the bar and had everyone's cell number. About 15 minutes later, I received a phone call from Panorama asking if I was running late, or if I'd like to cancel my reservations.
