Mr Sub, Hamilton Reviews (2)
Hello! Ok, so I have never had such bad service at a Mr. Sub location. I love Mr. Sub and I love the grilled chicken wraps...but this place has got to get nicer workers! Yesterday I went in and there was a new girl working that I hadn't seen before...I asked for my grilled chicken wrap and she charged me 9$! I realized that that was a VERY high price (normally they are around 6$) so I asked her to check if this was correct. She said it was and began to argue with me for a while...I started to get agitated and then she admitted that the sub was only 6$ and she has made a mistake. I took this as a simple miss understanding and came in the following day to see the same worker...I asked her for the same thing as the day before and she told me she had to charge me extra for my extra toppings! (I get lettis, Tomato, Onions and lots of mushrooms) she said that I needed to pay a 1$ extra for my extra toppings. I told her that I had never had to pay that much before and explained that I may get a lot of one topping, but I barely get anything else. She doesn't make people that get everything as a topping pay extra...anyways, I think the lady has a grudge against me due to the fact that I caught her trying to rip me off for 3$ the day before. She was trying to make a quick buck and I caught her. Enough said. DONT GO HERE!
If you're going to pay $9 for a sub, better off going to Subway. I've been to this location a few times now, and with the exception of their heated subs, anything cold is horrible. Reasons for this: Bread is never fresh....always somewhat stale... Nothing like Subway's fresh bread. I watched them put 3 tomatoes on a footlong sub....why are you skimping? People can go to mike's subs, get way more toppings for 5-6 dollars. This location is going down the wrong path quickly. Hopefully this review helps them fix it up because I've had Mr Sub at other locations, and this isn't a problem.

Additional business details
The first Mr. Sub restaurant opened in Toronto, Ontario in March of 1968. Right from the start, the concept was simple: sell quality subs, make them fresh, and serve them fast. And above all, give customers value for their money. A lot has changed since then. Our menu has grown to include salads, wraps, soup, fresh baked bread and more. Today, there are over 475 restaurants from coast to coast, and Mr. Sub is still owned by the founding partners. Lots of things have changed over the years, but every Mr. Sub franchisee remains committed to our original concept of quality and freshness. That thinking was what brought people to our restaurants back in the 60's, and it continues to create new customers today.
