Amazing breakfast and very reasonably priced. We’re huge breakfast people and we were not disappointed. The unique styled thin crispy homefries were amazing. Very quick service, even after rebuilding from a flood.

Went here for brunch and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was smooth.

The food was good — the omelette was well-made, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruits on the side.

I came here for brunch during the week on my own. I was able to get a table by the window. I tried the eggs benedict and it was good. It was a decent portion and I was satisfied with it. The cappuccino on the other hand, I did not enjoy. I would probably just order drip coffee next time. This is a simple place to get breakfast in the neighbourhood.

Had the feta and asparagus omlette with salad and challa bread. It was a solid brunch item for me as it was not too heavy.

The meal plus the coffee, tax and tip, came to around $30. It's a bit pricey, value for money wise.

And they really need to change the stall doors in the women' washrooms 🙏. Don't know how they are in the men's washroom, but regardless, those stall doors need a serious upgrade.

The portion is generous and all the dishes feel home made and delicious.

I recommend coming early as the restaurant will be full by 9 am.

Noisy, poor service, Only passable food. Large servings with waste on every plate we saw. Chorizo Eggs had plain sausage, not chorizo; eggs were watery; salsa bland and tastely. Homefries are just deep fried potato chunks, none of the yummy seasonings you get in an ol' style Greek diner.

I wish I had discovered this restaurant years ago—specifically, I mean five years ago! The breakfast and brunch offerings here are, without a doubt, the best I’ve had in Toronto, and I’ve explored quite a number of places. Each dish is bursting with flavor, and everything tastes incredibly fresh, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The service is equally impressive; the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel welcomed and at home. We have been to this restaurant for breakfast. The staff are nice, and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy environment with nice outdoor space. It’s good for families and small groups, and definitely recommend to book beforehand. We tried Magnificent Madeline and Sinful Benedict, and both were okay.

My husband and I discovered this charming breakfast spot by chance, and we’re so glad we did! The avocado toast was absolutely delightful, perfectly seasoned and fresh. I would never get tired of this place! Been here a few times now, love everything about this place. Rotation is very quick so even when there's a line, you can expect a seat within 10-15min. Food is just amazing and it comes out quick! Amazing portions for the price. Great black coffee. Very kind service. Homey vibe. Couldn't ask for more.
Update: Portions for home fries shrunk a little and fruits shrunk a lot. Could be just that one day tho. Makes little difference about my ratings.

to your server friendly professional.....

The food is just plain good.
My breakfast plate was colorful, well presented and tasty.
My only negative was I did not like the beans.
The rest was excellent.
Sat on a nice patio.
Everything just as I was looking for.
Will definitively be back!!!!

The Homeway is one of those fabulous old school diners that give you mountains of food for a great price. The service is awesome, friendly and always on hand with more coffee! Now that is perfect in my books. Packed on weekends I love to sneak in during the week. Makes life so easy. I love the summer here and can’t wait for the patio.
