Red Lobster Restaurant, Winnipeg Reviews (1)
We ordered a lobster artichoke dip to start - this soupy salty mess was not worth the $11 it cost. Our meal came with a salad which we should have skipped - the lettuce was bagged, wilting and laced with preservative. It was swimming in a gallon of dressing and had clearly been sitting in the fridge after it had been tossed together as it was "hurt your teeth" cold.
The main arrived quickly but again I assume that it was made hours before and had been sitting under a warming lamp for some time. The garlic shrimp were so salty I could not eat them. My lobster tails were ok but the portions were very small. The rice that accompanied my meal was also incredibly salty and the veggies were so over cooked I wondered if they had been the garnish on the plates of the customers before me.
My husbands meal came with a very small portion of crab legs. The legs were over- cooked and quite tuff. My husband commented that they tasted "old". His breaded butterfly shrimp were tasteless and his garlic shrimp were also incredibly salty.
Overall our bill was just under $90 and we left feeling ripped off. We will not go back. The quality of food was so poor! Save your money!
